Despite the OP's claim to be 24, the coincidence of a WUM post and the Summer holidays is too strong.0

They want you out because you are a tight fisted whiny ungrateful prat.

I pay £30 a month to cover my share of broadband, gas and elec
£30 a month!! no wonder you don't want to move out! no wonder your parents want you to.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0 -
Shower per day, 8kw, 5 mins, around 5pence a day, £20 a year
Computer and TV, 50W, 10 hours a day, 8 pence, £30 a year
Heating, I rarely put it on if I'm in the house myself, say, £50 a year
Gas/elec for cooking, £50 a year
£150 a year, but I'm paying them £360.. hmmmThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I can't agree more.
OP, you are taking your parents for a ride - & they know it. Then you have the nerve to accuse them of being unsupportive.
When you have your own place, you will realise that £30 a month, is not in any way, ''paying your own way'' . You are costing them a lot more by living there, and you are in no way as you say 'funding their lifestyle'' - they are funding yours.
Everything the OP has said is a complete and utter joke - 24 years old, sound more like 12!!
Unfortunately you seem to have a huge chip on your shoulder and think the world owes you a living - you have a hard lesson to learn. The opposite of what you know...is also true0 -

But you're earning £80,000??!0 -
If I was paying say £300 a month then I would have less money set aside for my house depositThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
