I love seeing my children again, in fact youngest is coming to stay with her boy friend next weekend, but they will leave a few days later. OP, what do your friends think of your ideas on staying with your parents as long as you can. Do they still live with their parents?

So what you are saying that adults don't want to see their children after they turn into an adult? This is what I don't get, no love

No, we are saying that parents should help their grown-up children to complete the transition to adulthood by becoming independent.

No-one has said that parents don't want to see their children ever again.

I guess when OP buys his own place he'll be quite happy for his parents to move in and pay him £30 a month each to live there then , after all they won't cost him more than that ....will they ?

Yes if they need, plus they would need to pay the 25% discount I would lose on council tax

What I would like to know is why you are all taking the time and effort to reply to this poster.

It's a very obvious wind-up, and he is simply having a laugh at your expense with all these ludicrous and obviously made up remarks.

Save your comments and helpful advice for those who really need it and not this pseudo Billy Liar !!!

I have overheard a conversation between parents wanting me out

    Then take the hint.
