UPDATE:
POPLA have allowed the appeal!
On the basis that Iceland submitted a list of charges that POPLA thought was not true and did not justify the amount and that they found it to be 'in fact punitive' and that most of their costs lie at the 2nd stage of appeal which involves sending debt collectors etc....
Thanks to everyone for their support and help here!!

Can you post the full appeal wording (redacting any personal info and the POPLA ref) including the assessor's name in the POPLA Decisions thread please? (If you haven't already).0

It wouldn't be Iceland submitting anything; it would have been Excel. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Sorry thats what I meant. Excel
Also, I am so grateful that POPLA considered my appeal that was a few days late given I explained the reasons why and that they considered my appeal that was submitted in 2 parts as I hadnt submitted the whole thing at once by mistake.
Thanks for your help umkomaas, C-M and others here!0 -
