Advise on what? You've already had the advice ... what else are you expecting?

Whilst i don't expect any sympathy from people here, I really have had a lot happening and had to travel abroad for family emergency reasons.

So basically I have to pay or debt collector letters and court?

None of any of the above might happen. You just have to wait and see. They have 6 years to pursue you (some don't) before any 'debt' is statute barred.

If you get a LBCCC/LBA or MCOL papers come back. If all you get are debt collector letters then please don't come back reporting each one you get, but go to the NEWBIES sticky and read post #4.

Have you seen how busy this parking forum is? Why do you think you deserve special treatment (i.e. psychic ability to understand what you have NOT written) from people trying to help LOTS of others?

Thank you Umkomaas!

Am I reading between the lines here correctly? Was this aimed at me? Particularly in view of the exclamation mark after my name?

POPLA have rejected my appeal as it was late they said. I am not sure if they even considered my reasons for late submission, seems like a standard letter....

Can someone please advise what I do now?
Thanks
Right so what happened when you emailed POPLA again to contest the mistake they have made, under the circumstances, and copied in the BPA? There's a POPLA liaison officer at the BPA who can agree for cases to be heard late you know, she's called:

Gemma Ridgewell
POPLA Liaison Officer
British Parking Association
Tel: 01444 447 300
Email: gemma.r@britishparking.co.uk

• I didn't reply to POPLA's email rejecting the appeal

I'm trying to call the BPA Now

Thank you!!
• I just called BPA and I was told Gemma wasnt at the desk but that Gemma as Liason Officer cannot agree that cases are heard she can only advise if there has been a breach in the POPLA code. E.g. if the PPC has not given you a POPLA code to appeal.

I was told to contact POPLA again, I did and POPLA said email in with the reasons to see if they can consider it....

So I may email POPLA again explainging the circumstances again....

Thanks

Hope you realise if you don't get POPLA it just puts you in the position that everyone was in 2 years ago (before POPLA existed). It's no biggie to ignore debt collector letters, I have collected them myself in the past for these fake PCNs.
