As the United Nations recognizes only the 1948 borders
I think that you misunderstand. The refer to the land that Syria controlled from 1948 to 1967.
The UN Partition Plan was voted iin November 1947. (Not ratified).
Israel declared independence in May 1948 after their terrorism prevailed.
Armistice(Green Line) was drawn up in 1949 after the Arab-Israeli War.
Israel took 30% more territory than was proposed under the Partition Plan and would have happily taken more......operational commander Yigal Allon later stated that had it not been for the Arab invasion, Haganah's forces would have reached 'the natural borders of western Israel....
So which 1948 borders are you suggesting that the UN recognises?0 -

Was Tom Hurndall firing rockets? Was Rachel Corrie firing rockets? Was James Miller firing rockets? Was Iain Hook firing rockets? Was Brian Avery firing rockets?
Your knowledge appears rudimentary at best. You have little to no idea of what is occurring on the ground, other than what you are force-fed.
Are you actually old enough to be posting here or just too old to be learning anything new?
I won't waste any further time with you.

I thought when you said you think that this current issue began with HAMAS rockets you were taking about the current conflict over the past month.illegitimi non carborundum0

Just so that you know....I can't read your snippets.
I have put you on ignore, as you don't appear to have anything of intelligence to impart. It's like debating with a child. Enjoy your day, but think about others along the way. Not just about yourself.0 -
I am sorry for their families that they lost their lives. But compare and contrast it with the Dutch investigators trying to get access to the plane crash in Ukraine. The first sign of trouble, they went back to the airport/their hotel/wherever......anywhere except the place where there is a war going on.NiftyDigits wrote: »Was Tom Hurndall firing rockets? Here is a video from an Indian TV station, filming rockets being assembled in a residential area, and then fired.

Any of the Hamas sympathisers here want to defend this use of human shields and a clear war crime?illegitimi non carborundum0
