They wanted the subject of the bet to be a realistic challenger, England were about 40/1 on betfair so only considered to be no more than a reasonable 'outsider' rather than a team with a good realistic chance (rather like the yes vote in the forthcoming Scottish referendum).Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

Really, were you involved in the production?
The good thing about the referendum is that it is only a two horse race and anything can still happen.0 -

Of course I wasn't involved in the production (If I was involved in the production I would have said 'we' not 'they').When they received all the flak for selecting Germany, they stated that they picked Germany because (as I previously stated) 'they wanted the subject of the bet to be a realistic challenger' to make it more believable.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

They are only trying to distract attention away from the fact that;
- having got all excited about the fact that the BBC posted some numbers showing that "UK GDP would drop by £282.50 from £21,577.22 to £21,294.72" as a result of Scottish independence
- they are now having to cope with the revelation that the BBC got it wrong first time round and that actually UK GDP would increase by £117 as a result of Scottish independence0 -
Anything can still happen. One outcome is far more likely than another however.
Yep, not long to go now until we find out....“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
