Do you know many leading Scottish politicians personally? If not I guess you must know them vicariously via the media.
If you do, I would suggest you're part of a vanishingly small minority.0 -

I'm sure you can recognise the difference from listening directly to political debates as opposed to reading the media's interpretation.:wall:

I would vote no as Scotland would be financially worse off if independent and prices would rise in Scotland
It's a simple statement to make, but why do you think it would be financially worse off and that prices would rise.
Let's be clear, I think there will be an initial cost to becoming an Independent country again, but beyond that, I believe we can be extremely competitive and efficient.:wall:

Why do you think that Scotland would be more competitive than the remainder of the UK? Are people in Scotland naturally more hard-working or something?0 -
I've been wondering the same recently
http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/politics/one-britains-most-celebrated-peace-3988975Vice President of CND UK Bruce Kent said a Yes vote in next month’s referendum would remove the Trident system from the Clyde and strike a blow for world peace.
The comments are a significant boost for Alex Salmond as he prepares for tomorrow's crunch TV debate on independence with Better Together leader Alistair Darling.
Just a different tone to the one we've been used to.
As Lord Ashcroft said, perhaps CND isn't the right group to ask whether the UK needs nukes:

I've been to a couple. and particularly enjoyed the live Question Time experience.
I also enjoy watching the "Scotland Tonight" daily evening program discussing the current affairs and political points of the day.
You can look at a paper and see how it's political allegiance is aligned to. by the amount of coverage it gives to each side.
I must admit, it's annoying how they are not impartial, however I guess they align themselves to where they think the most papers they will sell.
This is why you see the media switch parties depending no how well they are fairing in each election.
A great media outlet would be impartial and ask critical questions to all sides.:wall:

There are a number of factors which can be involved in reducing costs.
Streamlining the process is the first area to target to reduce costs.
Often large organisations are not as adaptable as small organisations.
Sure economy of scale has a value, but at a certain point, you start to get into dis-economies of scale.
Then you may also look at the hourly wage of the people supplying the service.
It's quite likely it can be cheaper to deliver from Scottish towns / cities than from London.:wall:
