    Hi

Thank you for all the lists xx

Gramps (OH) is visiting his grand kids 6 & 4, it seems when I was talking to them yesterday, they had all been for a family walk, with his daughter tell them all to walk nicely, so Gramps according to the 6 year old, was being silly, (AKA minstry of silly walks) so the grand kids made his sit on the naughty step, for 1 minute for every year of his life, but it seems the kids lost count of how long he had been there after 5 mins and arrive with a book for him to read a story on the stairs !!!

    Wonderful story :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    I needed that!

WMx5 all on the line and drying well, WM6 still going round :)
The sun has bleached most of the lily pollen stain out of DH's jacket and it is wearable :j
The U3A canal group outing was very interesting and it was warm and sunny and a beautiful area - we got within a few feet of a gorgeous heron :)
I have made a bit of progress with work this afternoon - though not really as much as I should have done, because I went to sleep for an hour: I just couldn't keep my eyes open
DH has tried to be helpful today :A
I am feeling considerably better now than I did this morning :o

Thank you Honey Bear for your helpful suggestions. Unfortunately I can't delegate major editing of the course leader's notes to anyone else. My friend and I rewrote some big chunks last week, and I wrote it all down in note form that makes sense to me but not to other people :o Will plod on and get another couple of pages done before tea. It was worth moving the PC downstairs out of the sun, though it will have to go back upstairs this evening to make room for the Old Wives to play with clay this evening :p

    More posivibes to Ginge x

    hi all

I am the proud owner of a whole-class gift including a bouquet and a card - and written on that card were the most fantastic comments from parents about how happy their children have been, how they have enjoyed the class and how well they have developed.

I cried when I read the comments.

    Attention NATTY
I cannot, unfortunately 'supply' as thread leader for Dusty's week - I am so sorry but I have been treated to a holiday and am off to Sorrento with DD. I will get to (finally) see Pompeii! I am so sorry for letting you all down!

Villa Valli wouldn't look out of place in Pompeii, at the moment with the state it's in, methinks:rotfl:

How lovely Valli on the great comments and the holiday!

I feel really bad about not getting Dd's teacher and TA's a gift DD was sent home poorly last week on Wednesday and they told me to bring her back in September lol.

Must clean the kitchen now (I got sidetracked earlier trying to make a loomband bracelet lol I don't have a artistic bone in my body!)

Fizz - this caught my eye as you may know I have quite a few rescue animals of the small caged variety hehe... something I've been thinking about is if I advertised as a boarding service for small animals to earn some extra money, would people use it, and you've just answered my question!

Can I ask how their charges work? Because that's a LOT of money!!! To quote a line from a movie I love: "I can feel the little money hairs on the back of my neck go woo woo woo!"

    Hi all

Well, I think I made a decent stab at today! Kitchen is a damn sight better anyway!

Forgot to say that in my absence from flylady I also defrosted the freezer which was long overdue so that's still making me happy every time I open it at the moment!!! haha :rotfl:

Currently in the middle of doing the animals with coconut oil on my hair to moisturise it - need to go wash it out in a tick or you can bet I'll forget!!!

Trying to find ways to cool down degus - poor little things are hot and it can be dangerous for them as they can't sweat so get heatstroke very easily. They keep lying on their bellies all stretched out which is sure sign of too hotness... as it were!

I've put a couple of ice cubes in water in these little pots I use for the geckos food, and I'm going to go and freeze a sponge cloth thing for them to lie on if they want to... Wishing I had a fan! Feel so bad for them!
