Hi all - Hugs to you and yours Mumof5.

Well the school holidays are here, 6 weeks of taxi services then :)

I am going to pin my daily list to the fridge and suggest to the teenagers that if they want dropping off and collecting here, there and everywhere they can do some jobs from the list for me. Well I can hope cant I?

Paid job no. 1 finished, just about to start on paid job number 2. Then I need to collect both kids from opposite directions and make tea.

I seem to be accumulating a lot of "stuff" on the worktops. Need to make some room in the cupboards and clear it all off I think. In fact things like the frothie maker that no-one ever uses can be binned. Clear worktops would make life so much easier.

Did about 45 mins for HHC - spent it getting in 2 loads of washing, sorting it and outing the non-ironing stuff away/ delivering to teenagers' rooms. Then tidied airing cupboard and sorted odd sock mountain - and was quite successful!! :D Washing machine also put on :)

Now for half hour of paperwork before collecting small 2 from school.......

    Hugs to Mumto5

Nearly there! Although as the locksmith won't be back until tomorrow the lawns are going to have to wait until I can move freely in and out of the house.

Windows will need to wait until I have some cleaning cloths/kitchen roll, as we are currently out of both :(

Can't believe how productive I can be when I haven't got to go to work :rotfl:

Think I might do a little bit of painting in a minute. The downstairs looks very tired so hoping to get some of it done over the summer, whilst the kitchen is tidy and empty, I'm going to starting there :)

Have been to the park only for about 20mins as ds1 needed the toilet.

We came home and I started to weed the back garden it took over 2 hours!

I will be using Nicki's tip and buy a load of salt when I go shopping tomorrow.

Now its time to clean the kitchen and hang my washing out it is beautiful weather today.

Think I'm finally done with the kitchen - taken me longer than anticipated (even though I have a tiny kitchen!).

Changed and taken out the bin
    General clutter tidied
    Sides wiped down
Oven & oven racks scrubbed, oven racks foiled (oven pride currently soaking in the oven, I'll clean that up this evening)
Fridge emptied, old food thrown away, whole fridge & drawers bleached
    Windowsill cleaned
    Cupboards wiped down
Glass cupboards, kettle, oven & sink polished
Cat bowls & mat emptied & washed
Dishwasher emptied, reloaded & put on

Now just to hoover and wash the floor, then onto bathrooms :)

Fizz - this caught my eye as you may know I have quite a few rescue animals of the small caged variety hehe... something I've been thinking about is if I advertised as a boarding service for small animals to earn some extra money, would people use it, and you've just answered my question!

Can I ask how their charges work? Because that's a LOT of money!!! To quote a line from a movie I love: "I can feel the little money hairs on the back of my neck go woo woo woo!"

    LC xx

They charge £2.75 per day. We're away for a fortnight but leaving early on the sat so I need to drop him off on the Friday. Two weeks later, we may not be back until after the shop closes so he's booked in til the Sunday; 17 days in total. In some respects it seems like a LOT of money but we have no alternative, SIL had him last time we were away, and she's coming on holiday with us this time too. DS1's dad could have him but he lives almost a two hour drive away and the stress wouldn't be fair on the poor hammy. DH's ex-wife is having DSD's hammy but DS2 was too scared to send his to her too; I think he has heard DH refer to her as a bunny boiler too often :rotfl:

Anyway their charges include all food etc and he will be cleaned out during his stay. Maybe you could look at Vistaprint or the like, get some of those cheapy business cards printed out and offer them around the local petshops etc?

Good luck if you decide to go for it :) xx

I rather despair of ever getting back to following the official lists. However, I have actually done some stuff today, as follows:
    • WM load of Mr LW's clothes (all now dry and in the airing cupboard)
    • Dogs given brekkie
    • Washed up breakfast stuff plus the stuff Mr LW used to make up his lunchbox
    • Yogurt made
    • Jug of iced Rooibos tea made
    • Pasta with mayo & sultanas prepared for tonight's dins
    • Dogs exercised in garden and groomed
    • HHWiiFit done
    • Ice cream transferred from ice cream maker to freezer box and Freezer Tetris done
    • Back lawn cut (Mr LW has lowered the blades on the mower, so this was hard work)
    • Dogs exercised and groomed #2
    • Dogs given dins
    • Large pile of washing up done
I now have to deal with my emails and enter the credit card docket for the petrol Mr LW bought last night onto the spreadsheet, by which time Mr LW will be home and wanting his dins - hopefully bearing my new Dys0n - ours is very much on its last legs, so we ordered one online, Mr LW just has to pick it up from Argoose on his way home (bu88ered if I'm paying an extra £3.95 for delivery!!) So I'll probably be playing with that later.:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
