Just remembered - I didn't lose £20 - we went to another bar and sank a couple of bottles of wine so must have been spent there!

So didn't go for a run this morning as decided to stay in bed and sleep so got about 10-11 hours of sleep last night which was lovely and most needed.

I worked from 12-5 so have broken the back of evil stuff.

Went for a run after work then made a healthy chicken mushroom and risotto soup out of that book cook yourself thin so that can eat healthy even though working late rather then ordering pizza or Chinese to the office

Have training at 615am and can't wait. I really do swear that when mood is low exercise really helps

Hey lulabelle, you sound so positive! It's really inspiring.

Though, I honestly don't know how you keep hydrated when exercising in this weather. Must be witchcraft! : P

Damn. Was bad today and didn't get up for training. Figured I needed the sleep more (as couldn't get to sleep last night) but regretted not going

On the plus side I've eaten really healthy today. Protein shake for breakfast then half a carton of chicken, lemon and tarragon soup for lunch. Tonight is roasted butternut squash with chilli flakes and feta.

Got head down and worked hard today but pretty exhausted now as was in at 830, worked through lunch then left at 730 when my eyes hurt so much they couldn't take any more

Aiming in being in bed by 10 tonight then up at 540 and get dressed straight away and get down to the sea front for a run. Aiming to run for at least 28 - 28.5 minutes in total this time having done 25.5 in total Sunday night (they say you should only increase by 10%)

Got inspired by a friend from unis post on fb today - shed done 11.6 miles with map my run - I can only dream of that!

About to settle down to watch child genius from last night. May even go to bed before 10 as eyes hurt!!

  • Loving the new diary Lula, I'm also setting myself some goals and mine are almost identical to yours, especially number 4 :0)

I've dropped of the healthy eating and exercise wagon, need to jump back on sharpish!

    Let's stay motivated x x
  • PS: have you tried meditation? I've got a CD that I find helpful for relaxing/sleep x

Thanks MC - yes, where's your diary and we can motivate each other?

I've not but I'm doing a mindfulness course on Sunday funnily enough!

  • I've not got a diary, I'm a bit of a lurker to be honest, and my diary wouldn't be very exciting. I do love reading other diaries though.

A mindfulness course sounds fab, I've found the meditation really helpfu, I just need to practice it more often.

I run very occasionally, have you seen the running bug website? It's got a good forum and folk are really helpful.
