So, today has been a good day

Was asked by big boss to cover court this morning on something which was quite frankly a mess but I did ok. Then had a couple of advices to do - managed to delegate one.

Had a manicure so nails look all nice now and decided to leave the office at 430 as had had enough and wanted to get a head start on packing

Am packed (other than things I need in the morning) and fake tanned. Am now in front on tv having had a cheeky G&T so going to have a coffee, some chocolate and then an early night as am up at stupid o clock to get to airport

I'm hoping to log in and update when away but if not, see you all in a couple of weeks and hope you all have fab weekends!

Greetings from Miami guys! I had a fab week in NYC but spent a fortune

Miami is SO expensive and kind of wish id done just 3-4 days here as now ready to come home as am holidayed out (going out every night is a real chore), miss the cat and would give anything to be sat at home on my sofa right now

I'm also itching to get back into fitness and have the worlds worst hangover today (can't even keep water down so haven't left my room!)

So I can finally keep food and (soft) drinks down! Feel bad having left friend by herself today but she seems ok about it. Not having another night like that, ever! It was much fun but not worth how am feeling today! Total waste of a day sitting in bed watching crap tv but have just had room service and a nice cup of tea!

Is it weird that I have missed posting on here and reading all your diaries?!

Today is our last full day. We fly tomorrow evening. As much as I've had a good time I'm now really ready to come home

Despite supposedly being a luxury hotel I've had to move rooms 4 times in 1 week for various reasons which is not good enough. I did lose it a bit at the chick on reception yesterday and told her I may as well be at work because the whole thing was stressing me out.

So, I'm really looking forward to coming home now and seeing the cat. Work not so much but I will now have time to investigate other options

I'm back!!!! No cat yet as was back too late to collect him so will get him at lunchtime. Have missed him!

So I had a fab holiday. Spent a massive obscene amount in nyc but I'd been saving specifically for it since the start of the year. That, coupled with Miami means I've gone over what I budgeted but if I then add back in my monthly allowance for spending for sept (as obv not been spending on groceries/going out here) should just about be ok. Can't work it out exactly yet as have cattery fees to pay today and waiting on our final bill from hotel to process through so I can then work out what friend owes as we put all bar and pool food stuff on my room

I'm going in late today (naughty) so will update tonight generally about life moving forward after a well earned break as have a plan for rest of year
