OMG no idea where today went but have done nothing but watch movies and read!!!
Have my trainer tomorrow but not until 10am so that's good as usually 615am! Meeting friend am going away with tomorrow to book stuff we need to book
Totally given up on men. Online bloke gone cold. Which is fine as I'd decided this time around not to get hopes up anyway but just goes to prove right decision giving up - perhaps a husband and a family are just not written in the stars for meI want to be a writer0 -
Hey lula,
Movies and reading sounds like a perfect day!
Btw don't give up on men...I never thought I'd find anyone, then I met DH (online) and we've been together for nearly 7 years now. I could never have imagined finding someone so amazing, and really didn't think it would happen (I promise, I know people say that, but I'd nearly given up hope). You sound lovely, and the right person will be out there for you xxxDebt remaining:

Reading and DVDs are needed after the stressful time you have been having!
Absolutely a great day!
I feel the same as you re men, time to become more self-sufficient !
Big hugs XXXNevertheless she persisted.0 -
Am up with a coffee as have training at 10am. Then going to meet friend re holiday and what we need to book
Then, without fail, I am going to (1) clean kitchen from top to bottom (including fridge but not cupboards) and (2) lay out everything I want to take on holiday in spare room. If I have time I'll also clean the lounge but suspect I'll want to veg
I had planned to clean entire house over bank holiday but think I'm just so shattered that I've really just needed some down time
Thank for all your comments re not giving up etc but I honestly have. Where I live there are zero guys but I'm too scared to move as I do have a good lifestyle and great friends here and scared I could trade all that in and end up with nowt so easiest thing is to accept I will never marry or have childrenI want to be a writer0 -
Hmmmm and after all that he's just sent me a message. And it asks a question so I'm guessing he wants to start up conversation. I am not responding for a while though and anyway I'm going away on Saturday for over 2 weeksI want to be a writer0

Sometimes when you've 'given up' then something happens out of the blue!
Really hope you are happy, regardless of what happens, and a man isn't necessary for that.
Enjoy your pancakes and have a lovely day out - you really do deserve a rest after all the stress. The kitchen will still be therex

Thanks giblet. I've done the majority of the kitchen (still need to do the veg draws in the fridge!) and so now just getting ready to head out to friends for an hour or so. Then will come back and put clean bedding on my bed and start having a look at clothes to take on hols.
Then going to chill on sofa with more movies I think - just really want chill out and downtime this weekend. May have a cheeky G&T mid afternoon like I had yesterday! Am going to whip up a carbonara tonight which should do a couple of meals.I want to be a writer0 -
So we've managed to book a Yankees game which should be cool
Is it bad I'm also researching the best hook up bars?! We live in such a small place we can't go wild so we are going to go a bit wild on this holiday!!I want to be a writer0 -
That's not bad - sounds fun
