You can't just write off money because someone passed away.
Let us say you give £200 cash to an individual who is going to do some work for you and needs the money for materials. He lives in a rented bedsit and apart from food and rent spends all his money on drink/cigarettes/drugs/gambling.
He dies suddenly without getting the materials for the job, your £200 was drunk or injected or smoked etc. He has no assets, no relatives. Who are you going to claim your £200 from?If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
Well then you're !!!! out of luck.0
