There you go again... they have not admitted that.
Just pointed out to you that he had no insurance.
If I told you you should have your house insured, but you chose to ignore me, does that make me responsible for the cost of rebuilding your house if/when it burns down?0 -
They admitted that they didnt check he was properly insured and legit which they said he was. whats the point if a driving school then if its not to provide instructors who arent properly checked ??0

If they took money from me and put me in touch with a driving instructor that they said was legit and it turns put he wasnt how are they not at fault.. thats what im asking.. if i had got him myself then i would of looked into him myself. I didnt think driving schools were allowed to put you in touch with a driver who wasnt insured??0

Is it their responsibility to check that?
Several earlier posts imply that it is up to the instructor how he runs his business.0 -
Im still confused as to what "insurance" the instructor didn't have, or have I missed something?0

You said in an earlier post you got on well with your instructor. Unless he committed suicide, I don't think he intended to leave his wife to sort out his problems. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
im not gonnae continue I just wanted to know if anyone had any clue as to how i should approach it further.. like I said I didnt think that a driving school could promote uninsured drivers.. yous are basically saying they can.. point taken. thanks.0

Then you need to check that out.badromance wrote: »I didnt think driving schools were allowed to put you in touch with a driver who wasnt insured??
As has been said earlier, of course they need motor insurance.
Do they need any further insurance, or can they self-insure other things?
What you think, needs to be substantiated.
Maybe the CAB can help with that.0 -

No, no, no.
No-one has said that uninsured drivers are ok.
You are still confusing motor insurance with other types of insurance.0
