Does anyone know of an affordable-ish hotel in Norwich? OH is visiting someone in hospital there and wants me to find him something for tonight.

HB, can't help with the hotel but please don't ignore your bite. I did a couple of years ago and it just got worse, long story short, caused problems, had to have steroids and it was a full year before I could use my arm properly again.

Bossy, love to you and yours. Looking forward to your posts once you recharge your batteries.

Now flying: the only thing I don't have done from today's list is a shiny sink and taps. The draining board is currently being used to drain stuff!

I think I will have another lie in tomorrow, then change our bedding and get cracking with the paid stuff.

Have a great evening everyone, what's left of it, and a great day tomorrow if I don't get on here first thing.

Thanks Jazee, I'm not ignoring it - I went to the Pharmacy to get the P!r!ton and if the swelling hasn't gone by tomorrow morning (it pretty much has now) then I'd have been worried, but thank you for your concern. It's just that I have to drag myself about and I was planning on an early night. Back to Trip Advisor.

HB healing vibes from somebody who knows the pain of being bitten

Bossy I send you love, strength and happy holiday vibes. I know when last year we had bad news after bad news I felt drained. Even though you wont be posting please know that you will not be out of our thoughts for you are one of us through and through. Take care chick.

Mrs MP glad the op is over and tea is being requested.

LW I gave up on the challenge weeks ago. I hope your DHs op goes well, I'll be away then but will be thinking of you both.

DS3's school team lost the district cricket final, he is not happy, DS2 is really not well and DS1 needs help with his emergency uni application. We have 3 days until jollies and I have oodles to do. DS2&3 fed. Sausages bunged in aga for DS1, I need to eat but don't feel well so don't know what I want apart from more ice lollies.

OK I am done for the day. I've not done as much as I wanted to but my son has been particularly difficult today and now I can't get him to sleep (last night he finally dropped off at 3am).

Hugs for everyone who needs them, so sorry to hear of your friends passing bossy x

Busy day not achieved anything like I wanted to. ....been wrestling the BD and Aunt Flo like a tag team . Ds went nursery, then DD4 and I went to nursery for teddybears picnic lunch altogether, then intro session with his new teacher in the new primary school, then onto swimming then home again.

Oh I have found a chimney sweep for Friday to get rid of old bird's nest just in time before roofing guy comes on Monday.

Rescheduled DS eye appointment for Monday as I can't be in two places at once!

I have Mt Foldmore to sort in my room and my airing cupboard is empty of all but one flannel so I need to get a wriggle on.....DS has nursery and primary again tomorrow so another day of chasing my tail.......right best I get started
The cold never bothered me anyway

I am very bad.. I am mentally, before I start physically, decorating the front room.. I need to do it one wall at a time shuffling furniture about.. My corner suite in the middle room is foofed so I am binning it and moving the large sofa from the front room to the middle room and refilling/sanding/stripping/painting as required in the front room.. it will only cost a couple of tins of paint so not too awful.

I am getting some more stuff thrown at ebeast over the next few days.. I am creeping my way very slowly to the first £100 of the £7000 I am aiming for.. just selling carp from in the house..

Good job I have nothing to do isn't it :p

Done my Next order, there were a few bits I've had my eye on which are now in the sale.. so I snapped them up.. OH will no longer be naked!! He was down to 1 pair of very snug jeans and about 4 tshirts..

WM all done and hung out, 2 loads of towels are staying out until they are dry!

I want to get started on stripping the girls beds tomorrow.. DD3 is home so she can do them I think.. and we will go through her drawers at some point too.

I need a paint run to B&Q .. white matt for ceiling and cream silk for walls.. I'm so boring!! haha... wood filled needed and battery pack for my cordless sander, but that might have to wait as I am church mouse poor..

I need to sort school shoes and winter coats next..

Can you tell I am writing exactly my train of thought here?

... Right.. cuppa to drink and then I need to get my girlies to bed.. they are all still up apart from Squeak!!!! ... the 2 littlies never sleep and the other 2 have just finished dinner after church club!! I asked DS3 to put a few bits in the oven which he did.. muppet just didn't turn the oven on!!!!

girls first, then Dot then Pixie I think..

I found my bed.. it didn't take too long but I have no floor visible again!! I have found some more ebay bits so my huge box is filling up! .. I guess if it all sells it will be a good thing and what doesn't sell is going to charity shop so will do some good somewhere.. I found 2 pairs of shoes which went in the cs bag and 2 pairs for ebay.. then my new boots fit in my shoe cupboard! decluttery progress!

Bossy, life is being most unkind to you. You lovely lady, rest and regroup on holiday.
LW, DS is very worried about sitting next to a stranger. We will swap seats with him and DD for first flight and then they are separated by an aisle. Hope your DH's op goes ok.
    Dusty, have a lovely holiday.

    I'll miss you all :)
