I got bitten by something and for some reason the swelling has been horrendous. 36 hours after I started on P!r!ton it still hasn't gone down completely and one of the side effects is tiredness .... ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzz
Suggest that you keep some lemon in the fridge and next time you get bitten rub it on until it stops itching. I always get horrible reactions to bites but find that helps enormously :)

Ladies, I'm going to bow out for a few weeks. It will be only temporary, but I'm just completely frazzled. I have *finished* work bar a few last messages! but still. I had some sad news about an old colleague of mine, a young woman who I was very good friends with, who lost her fight with cancer yesterday. And given the other sad news I've been hearing lately I'm just at the point where I don't know how much more I can take.

So I'm powering down for a little while, to recharge. I will be back next month xxx

I know I haven't been on here long but I will miss your friendly posts and helpful chats - plus the work you do on the thread.

I hope you manage to find some space for yourself and, although you have had lots of sad news recently, find it possible to see the positives and how much glad news there is around you.

For you, and all the other peoples finding things difficult atm, I would like to offer something my Gran used to say that I find helpful when I feel up against a brick wall.

Morning all. Having breakfast, no lie in after all as DH got up at 6 and I thought I may as well too. So the bedding is already in the machine and as there's no Thursday list yet, I'm going to make my next job shiny the sink and taps in the kitchen.

Will pop back when I can with an update.

Morning everyone, another busy one here. Off to hang the washing out in a minute then get myself organised for work. Have only had a couple of days off since Feb half term and I am really ready for a break. 3 weeks to go before I get a week off!

DS was very late to bed last night, I think he just wants to get the last few days of school over and done with now. Right, must shift myself!

I've done the sink and have noticed that I'm up to date with the lists this week! Will have to think of something to do for myself now.

  • Hey I must have been skim reading and missed it - well done on the size 12s Ionafan.

Sending good holiday vibes - and big hugs to all those needing them. Pigpen you are still on a roll - go you. LW I'm down your way when DHs op goes ahead so if you want my mob just pm me - hth if I can or may?

It's going to be really weird on here with so many of you away at the same time.

    Have a good day.

My plan for the morning is
    breakfast
    finish the weeding front garden
    sweep front drive
wash down under porch and front door
    dust through
    HHI
    important phone calls x 2

Will start at 8:15 - anyone joining me so early?

Dusty, DD1 is covered in bites, it's because the nursery she works at is surrounded with trees. She covers hers in bite cream and puts plasters over the top to stop her being able to scratch them.

Just having a cheeky bacon sandwich (found a couple of odd slices in the fridge) and coffee before I do a few jobs. I'm just killing time til I can get into the garden (daren't go out too early or the neighbours moan). The green bin is being emptied tomorrow so really need to actually get something into it :o
Second load in WM and DW is on.
I'm meant to have a friend coming for coffee tomorrow so need get tidying just so I can say "excuse the mess" :o
I'm feeling a bit out of sorts this morning, we had the drama group last night, they're starting on a new show comedy this time and there were several new members plus members not there as they don't want to/don't have time to do this show. I don't cope with change very well so it was quite stressful for me. A few very strong personalities in the new comers which didn't help. The lady that's directing this time kept asking if I was ok :o

Right I'm off to scrub the bathroom, Dcat3 missed the litter tray (again) and he has peed on the floor. Doesn't help that the floor slopes

Just realised that I'm not quite up to date with the lists as I've not hoovered the soft furnishings. Dailies done, except walking the dogs as its too hot already. Paid stuff now, may pop back later to see if I can tackle Thursdays list after the paid stuff.
