Evening, have just been keeping on top of dailies and doing packing. We're off on hols tomorrow and where we are going there is no internet access so I won't be around for a while. I'm actually looking forward to no internet, will be like the bad old days.

Have a great week everyone. Get well vibes for Ginge. Bossy, if you're lurking - hope you're feeling in a better frame of mind already.

    Hi everyone...

after all my grand promises last week I failed miserably at anything resembling flylady!

This week will be the week!

However, I ate TWO MASSIVE FROGS!!! :j:beer::T

Sorted out and rearranged and organised the whole spare room (office/library/animal shelter haha) - I totally pulled everything out and nothing has gone back in until it has been sorted through and confirmed not CARP! teehee
This was very motivational as it was all in the lounge so was cluttered and horrible all week - partly why couldn't do anything in there anyway!

Related to that is my other frog, my paperwork mountain! Finally sorted through and got rid of a whole bin bag just of old paperwork and rubbish that I was keeping for no reason. Had a huge knock on effect as freed up big storage boxes so I now have them in their intended use as Christmas and Present boxes, and so on.

So actually feeling quite pleased with myself!

I do now have another new task which is to sort through the random "stuff" which I've got on the sofa I don't usually sit on... it's kind of the byproduct which are leftover from the spare room task... you know the stuff you don't necessarily need but don't really want to chuck out... that will be my frog this week!

I'm up to date on washing etc, and am on early shifts this week which means a 3.30 finish. Makes all the difference for keeping the house up together so I want to have a really good crack at it this week as after all the back problems it's quite frankly, disgusting :o:(

Hope you've all had a good week

    LC x

It sounds like you have had a really productive week! Well done on the massive sort out and clear out!

    Evening all.
Just a quick update bbefore i head to bed.
Today i have stripped boys beds, remade, tidied, hoovered and sorted wardrobes removing anything I might want to pack (luckily they will be in uniform till Wednesday as I didn't leave much in there)
Stripped our bed, tidied and hoovered. Just fetched bedding in so need to remake it.
bathroom has had a quick tidy but girls decided they wanted to play in the water so i gave up.
Started in the girls room, think we were in there 3 or 4 hours and filled a black bag with rubbish, 2 laundry baskets full, filled a hoover bag, their beds stripped and remade... and I've still only found a few feet of floor! Going to do a big toy clear out while they are at school tomorrow.
Done 4 loads of washing and dw. Fed and showered kiddies and just managed to get them in bed. Think we might fill another skip before we know it.

Tomorrow ds1 has to be at school early for his trip, I need some shopping then going to start downstairs and back into the girls room.
