Once again, if I've missed anyone or got anything wrong please let me know :D

    Hi,Annie021063
I can't see my name on the list, but not sure if that is because I haven't had a weigh-in yet,or because my glasses are too far away too reach..........:rotfl:.My apologies if I am jumping the gun.
Well,a quiet day at home today.Have spent far too long on the computer, and not enough doing housework.
    Forgot to have breakfast dunno[1].gif.
    Lunch (2pm-ish) was bacon,poached eggs,fried tinned potato,baked beans
Snack: a banana and a Muller light.
Think I will have a Bachelors rice for tea, with cherry tomatoes on the side, followed by fruit salad, then Alpen bars for HEX B tonigh.

I have a couple of questions about mince and chilli con carne:

Does ALDI (or LIDL) sell mince with less than 5% fat(free)-I didn't see any in ALDI the other day-lowest I saw was 12%
Also, has the SW site changed their chilli con carne recipe? After being off-plan for a few months,I looked up the recipe and it is different to what I used to do:there is peppers and plum tomatos added to it.If anyone has the original recipe I would appreciate it.
Apart from this, the rest of the recipe seems to be the same, but is anyone sure?Previously,I think it had tinned chopped tomato instead of (fresh)plum tomatos. Can anyone confirm?Thank you.

Mildredd - yes back, having originally shed some 6.5 stone in 2012 tried to stick to plan without group through 2013 fairly well. 2014 has been a !!!!!! though.
Shala-moo - thanks for the Pulled pork idea. Hubby's fave. will be putting that together this week.
So many ideas on this thread.

I managed a 12 syn day yesterday. I know that planning is key, but I winged it. I wish I could find my old books and get the inspiration there. I miss my food diary layout, that really does set you thinking forward and planning the day out.

Do any of you buy the SW mag? Is it as helpful? Today currently stands at 7 syns. :A

I buy it for the odd recipe but I like the ready meal/snack info too, encourages me to try if I'm in a rush or whatever.

I have quite a scrapbook yet seem to cook the same things, I must start mixing it up a bit...

I lost 2lb this week. That's exactly 1 stone in 7 weeks and I'm very happy with that. I've done mostly EE this week. It seems to agree with me. So glad I found this thread and discovered the ins and outs of EE. :j:j

    Great loss slimwriter :T

DH has been and still is really ill, had lots of tests now Dr's believe it is lvf. Had to cancel our 2nd honeymoon as he is too ill to travel. I was so looking forward to going away. One of my big motivations.

Been struggling with the chocolate urge though I have been losing a lb or 2 each week.

will try and post when I can.

Sorry to hear that DH has been having a rough time health wise. Hope there is something that can be done to help him. Considering you have had so much to deal with you are doing amazingly well managing to lose 1-2lbs a week. Dont forget to look after yourself as well as hubby ;)

Thanks for the new chart Annie. Think it is pretty safe to say that unless I have a 5.5lb loss at tomorrows wi I will have failed this challenge :(. Better luck next time eh.

Here's to a week of great losses for everyone.

hope everyone is enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend.

I did a car boot sale today for holiday spends. Made £80, in the last week also made another £140 on ebay so I am happy.

I have cancelled my online subscription from Tuesday. Was only using the site for the graph tracking my loss and to buy the cook books. Hubby has set me up a graph tracker on the computer and I am about to go and buy any books I want now.

    EE for me today.

    Breakfast - 2 x alpen light, banana
Lunch - chicken fridge raiders, activa 0 fat yoghurt, apple, plum grapes.
tea - pork, boiled pots, carrots, cauli, broccoli, sprouts, mushy peas, gravy

    Snacks - baked crisps, melon

    Hea - milk in cuppas
    heb - 2 x alpen light.

    syns - fridge raiders 2.5, crisps 5, gravy 4 - total 10.5

Got a huge vat of super speed soup cooking. That will be my lunch for the next week. I have a party next Sunday and I would like to lose a couple of pounds as my dress is quite close fitted.
  • Great sales tazzy. Hope the soup eases the dress for next weekend. ;) Keep meaning to give this soup a try but never seem to get round to it. :(

    Evening all.

Outoffunds: sorry to hear about your DH.
TakeItEazy: hope you feel better soon

Well today I followed my plan and it was good. Unfortunately, I wasn't. :(

    Breakfast: toast & jam (1syn)
    Lunch: HM tomato soup
Dinner: salmon and broccoli spaghetti, cream soda rice pudding with ML raspberry & cranberry yogurt (made a lovely pale pink rice, quite tasty)
Snacks: choc dig (3 syns) ................................ and two choux buns (33syns)

I think I may have exceeded my syn allowance. I'm off to hang my head in shame.

Back to the drawing board tomorrow.

Oh Annie you are so lovely, but I must fess up that it was 1/2lb GAIN for me not a loss, but don't change it I will try and make it right for next week.

Mind I am just back from one of my Brothers fabulous roast Sunday lunches, followed by apple pie and ice cream and because we were celebrating my nieces first house purchase, a glass of Champane sp? I will need to be extra good until WI on Tuesday.
