I do most of shopping in Aldi but top up elsewhere as required.
Yes.that's what I am going to start doing now.I have only shopped there twice (this time round),and had stocked up on meat with the Morrisons vouchers a couple of weeks ago.I see myself being converted, but needing top-ups every now and again from bigger supermarkets.Don't think I will ever go back to Tesco for fruit/veg,though.
I have been very good today:
Breakfast:2 slices bacon,2 poached eggs, beans, followed by watermelon and grapes
Lunch:fruit salad-watermelon,grapes,strawberries.

Throughout day,cups of tea with milk(HEX A)

I will give one a go this weekend to try it, we are planning a picnic at some point so it will go well with it
I make this :
Cook 5 rashers of rindless smoked bacon, a handful of sliced mushrooms, sliced red and yellow pepper and a sliced red onion in fry light until soft and browned.
Put into a sandwich tin.
Blend a tub of fat free cottage cheese with 3-4 eggs (size depending) and pour over.
Sprinkle 80g of reduced fat cheese evenly over the top.
Bake at 180 for about 35 minutes. Slide a knife in, if it comes out liquidless, it's cooked.
I cut into four and either call it 3 syns or half my HEXA.
Use over four days, it keeps fine in the fridge and it suitable for breakfast or dinner, prefer it warmed in the microwave.0 -
I lost 2lb this week. That's exactly 1 stone in 7 weeks and I'm very happy with that. I've done mostly EE this week. It seems to agree with me. So glad I found this thread and discovered the ins and outs of EE. :j:jStart weight 13st10 (on 06/07/14) - 1st Goal 11st9 (by 14/12/14 - 23 weeks)

Morning all, it's unusual for me to post in the morning.
Beanie & Maisie, hope you have a good day today.
Good luck in your new job, flutterby.
I had a great day yesterday with DD - and our team won as well! I won't go into what I ate, because it def wasn't SW. But there was no dessert or cake, so that's a saving grace, eh! And there was a lot of walking, lol.
Don't know what today will bring yet. I'm off to plan next week's eats before I hit the shop. Believe it or not I always plan my week; it's just that the week sometimes doesn't cooperate!
Have a good day everyone.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -

Today I've been good had a very random tea shala I don't think you'll copy
Mccains jacket spud (1) tuna red onion sweet corn lighter than light mayo (0.5) and cheese on top
I was looking at the McCain jackets the other day, are they many syns? P.s don't like tuna so won't be copying
Well I've had an horrendous weekend, hence the absence from the board a little bit.. OH came home with Dominos on Friday night and it all went downhill from there.. *big sigh*
I think I'm like you Greentiger, I plan meals but it all falls apart somewhere
I spent yesterday batch cooking some healthy stuff so I have loads of beef stew (2/3rds veg), cottage pie (half veg and lentils), pork meatballs and some baked oatmeal..
I also made the lemon couscous cake.. Hmm it's not for me really so I won't be doing that again. The texture was a bit too weird..
Today we're having pulled pork, SW BBQ sauce, jacket potato, corn and a salad for tea. Just have to work out what's for lunch..
Some good losses coming through.. Well done to all of you :T:T I'm in awe of your willpower!!:DMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Shala 1 syn each? In just impatient and 7 mins for a jacket spud with mushy pea curry on for a quick tea is too easy
I need to do the sw BBQ sauce and pulled pork (recipe please?!)
I plan in advance too sometimes but then life gets in the way and it all falls apartStarted sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

:T congratulations to all with losses!!Had a day off today.
Still rather difficult here.
Sending you a big hug beanie. Hope today's a better one for you.:)SwipernoSwiping :hello: Welcome to the thread hope the friendly people on here can help you lose weight
Exactly what she said. I only get to group perhaps one week in three (target member so I can do this) so rely on this lovely thread to keep me on the straight and narrow.;) Plus there are loads of tips and recipes and a good few laughs along the way. Get planning!!!Saver-upper wrote: »Yes.that's what I am going to start doing now..I see myself being converted, but needing top-ups every now and again from bigger supermarkets.
I always plan ahead and it works well for me. What gets in the way is invitations to eat out. I have a good life and I'm not complaining but it's the extra syns from pubs and restaurants (including the wine syns) that derails it for me. This week I'm going out tomorrow for a drink (not unexpected as a Bank Holiday but I didn't plan for it) but then not eating out until Thursday. Determined to stay on plan in between.
Today's EE menu:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB Shreddies, HEA milk, banana
L: ham, bubble & squeak, beetrootpork, carrots, onions, celery (JO recipe:drool:) with roast potatoes, cauli and broccoli
Syns: gravy, weekend wine:j
I was up at 5 this morning to pick DD1 up from Heathrow. My breakfast seems a long time ago but I'm resisting eating rubbish. I'm going off to prep dinner and put a gammon joint in SC for tomorrow.0
