Hello all, popped on the scales since my last weigh in (a couple of days after starting as didn't want to depress my self) and i have lost 4lbs
I am enjoying the EE plan interspersed with a couple of green days.
EE menu:
B: HEB Weetabix, HEA milk
L: Frittata, with a large salad and a sweet potatosw slowcooker sweet and sour pork served with veg, the others can have rice.
Snacks apples and some strawberries
Syns: None as yet
Drinks Tea and water. I may indulge in a white wine spritzer later, but i have found i lost the taste..totally shockedBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Does anyone know if the candy floss/ tropical grapes from asda are free?
I found a link to a blog and they are free or she counted them as free.

Thanks maman and pink poppy xI love frittata although mine often turns out like a hash. Another idea is a crustless quiche. I make the frittata/Spanish omelette on the hob in a frying pan and then finish off under the grill (as with any other omelette). Briefly, I fry up all ingredients (e.g.sliced potato, tomato, spring onion, peppers, mushrooms) Then pour on beaten eggs and when it's all cooked underneath put it under the grill. If you have spare HEA adding grated cheese is yummy! I particularly like potato in it as it's more filling, tinned potato is cheap and easy. It'll probably keep for 2-3 days in the fridge but mine never lasts that long.;)
I will give one a go this weekend to try it, we are planning a picnic at some point so it will go well with it.pink_poppy wrote: »flutterby, would soft boiled eggs & beans on HEB toast (with grated HEA cheese) be quick enough for you on a morning?? I'll have this as an evening meal if I'm rushed & it's quite filling. You could half the HEB & HEA if you wanted a smaller breakfast.
This is what I've been having lots whilst I've been off. But I honestly don't think I'll have time or the inclination to eat before 7am! :rotfl:. At least not at the start, once I get used to it it will be easier I hope. Will be a big shock to system as my old job was a 3.5min drive from the house and I started at 9am lol. It's a bit more awkward as my OH is currently jobseeking having just graduated so I won't want to disturb him too much in the mornings by rattling round the kitchen (though really he could sleep through a hurricane!).

This week, and this month have been monstrously hard, I have constantly sabotaged a good start. My efforts to follow SW alone have resulted in gain after gain. But life does not fit around the group any more.
Well meaning friends lull me into complacency and more cake and more chocolate... well meaning husband doesn't realise that this constant weight gain means new a wardrobe that we simply can not afford.
Tears and then stress and then more tears all comforted with food & alcohol that just doesn't measure in the syn count. Hah, they say, it's only a few pounds, and she should have stuck to the plan. It's so much harder when you know how the system works and can wriggle.
Now with 35lb to re-lose I need your help to keep me on the straight and narrow. The plan only works if you stick to the rules. Wishy washy doesn't do it. So. Saturday night being always the worst - I'm starting over.0 -

Porridge done in the microwave is quick (& fairly quiet). Have you tried the 'magic' overnight porridge??

I've always done porridge on hob so that could be worth a go! Thanks.
I've tried overnight oats/porridge before, and like it. But as I'm veggie I don't eat Muller Lights so need to wait for Activia or Shape fat free ones to be on offer somewhere. But that could be a good option.* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *
