Trip Advisor disabled my account and I cannot contact them

As for the Simon Calder suggestion, if it were my TA account that had been disabled, I would give it a try.
Sorry but why bother?? TA may take on and dismiss anyone they choose and do not have to give a reason.
I have been a member for many years and do reviews and help fellow holiday makers in the area I know if I can, should TA think that I am no longer required to help out and block me I would not loose any sleep over it as IMO it would be their choice. TA posters do not get paid or have a contract and as I have said can keep or dismiss who they want.
Just except it, move on and enjoy your own holidays and let TA pick people they want.0 -
Try contacting Travelmole, they may make a feature of it if enough people do.0

This is why I suggested contacting Simon Calder.
If you read some of the other replies, it doesn't sound like TA have decided that all of these people 'are no longer required to help out'.
In some cases, there is no apparent reason correct accounts to be disabled.0 -

I like Holidaytruths, especially their way of moderating 'spats' & merging threads instead of having tens of threads on the same subject.
But, on the boards I post on, it's just not as busy as TA.0 -

Looks a v.quiet forum to me.
It's the bullying clique on the TA Tunisia Forum that got me the boot.0 -
@Pollycat
So Simon Calder {travel writer} would take up {as it stands on here at this time} two/three persons {one that admits not being the most honest with an apology in the past to get back on TA}. I somehow do not think so.
You must know yourself as a member of TA that it does not take much for some people to cause trouble and I am sure that SC would far sooner advise {after testing} a hotel/destination than take up petty squabbles between poster on any forum and the company itself.0 -

It may be quiet but at least you have not been blocked on it so it gives you somewhere to plant your pearls of wisdom and help people out. I thought that was why you wanted to post.0 -

It Is all very nice the idle chit chat, but everyone seems to disregard the question of whom at Trip Advisor authorises the blocking/disabling of contributors accounts. Is this an unknown. Also the idea of contacting Simon Calder on this issue is a good one but what are the chances of him even reading it let alone taking it up. Pretty slim I guess.
This post comes across as rather acerbic . Have they taken exception to your posting style?0
