  • Etait voila!!

Please may I have 2! 9.5 inches, although I am wishing to replace my bowls at some point soon (with one more similar to yours) - you know the chunky plain white ones?

I am also going to ninja measure my mums bowls as she eats almost everything out of them, and microwaves a lot as she bulk cooks for SW purposes. So another one will be ordered soon.

Will message you on the page for your details so as to make payment. Is that ok??

Oh Lordy Lordy - I've only gone and done it! I have made my target - in fact I've exceeded it. Yesterday I bought a lottery ticket ( never usually bother) and have just checked it - won £25. Put the money in my tin and then decided to count it all. I needed £169 yet there was £185.60 in the tin - £16.60 over and towards next week's target. Woowzer!! I never actually believed that it was possible!

Roll on week 2 - finishing date Friday 19th sept.

Morning all - so what's going on with chez nous? I have completed my first order - thank you liltdiddylilt for my facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/pages/Millies-Makes/632275980223143?ref=bookmarks- and its ready to send. That will raise £7.98 and I have sold some items on facebook which has raised £10.08. I think that, after the manic race of last week this will be a slow and steady tortoise race. Still the new target to be found by a week on Friday is now £134.34.

Morning everyone - and what a lovely morning it is ( not really - it's cold and cloudy here but Mr Evans suggests that it will brighten up!)

Anyway I have just got ready for work and have noticed that much of my make up tubes have their tops off and I am scraping out. That's having washed my hair with the top cut off my large pump action shampoo and washed with the dregs of my travel size body wash. Maybe this is why my od looks around £500 less than when I started this journey two months ago - woop woop. All my bills have gone out, all my dd's have gone and there should be no more spending from this account ( famous last words I know but I'm ever hopeful). So - all these mse actions / fundraising is really beginning to show progress. Although the dd is the lowest interest I want to see a positive balance at the end of the month - haven't see this for years - and am aiming to see this by 2015.

Have a great day everyone. :)

  • Eek!!! That is great news Ninno! Well done you, honestly. £500 is an incredible change seriously. I've got dozens of pots of blummin' shampoo and conditioner I can't use :( an allergy to artichokes previously unknown until last year has basically got me to the point where I take 3-4 antihistamines a day (prescription ones) just so that I can brush my teeth without swelling up like a balloon.

Wish there was a cheap way to ship them out to someone who would make better use of it. I have L'Oreal, and Tresemme and allsorts. One use, fat eyeballs, never again!

I admire your frugality! This month I have gone off the rails. I have already spent over £120 on groceries. Last months entire budget was £130. I know I bulk bought a shedload of items at the start of the month but still... keep :eek:ing at it on YNAB.

Just switched £200 out of my 'main' bank account as it had a suspiciously high balance and I only have £46 of DD's and £60 left of this months grocery budget to go out. We shall see how that fairs.

Keep on going, whats the total for Friday?! :D

Its a week on Friday and I need another £134.34. I've listed some more items on ebay and I've offered a freebie once the facebook page gets to 100, likes to try and spread the word. I have a Christmas related freebie in mind to offer - but that's top secret - hush! BTW - Ive posted the bowls but have gone for first class so hopefully you should get them tomorrow - I will be glad of the feedback. In terms of the toiletries I have found that hardly used make up will sell on facebook - don't know why but it might be worth giving it a try.

Not such a good day on the mse / diet front - succumbed to some naughty food from the local shop that just lept into my basket - honest sir. However dinner tonight (and for the next few nights / freezer by the look of it) is mince from the freezer cooked in the slow cooker - along with a tin of mixed beans, a tin of butter beans and a tin of lentil and bacon soup - rather a strange affair but all storecupboard food that's running out of date. Strangely it tastes quite nice!

Tonight is the first of a weekly patchwork class - around £4 per week for two hours so good value me thinks. At the end of it I should have an all singing, all dancing quilt - mmmmmmm
