And another 20p in a carrier! Oh how sad my days will be when I've exhausted all funds! New target for Tuesday is £28.00. Currently I have £8.99 bid on ebay so there's still a long way to go before Tuesday! However I remain hopeful.

Today has seen a visit to the hairdressers (I know - but it is budgeted and needed for my job) and a visit to sainsbobs but kept to my small shopping list - carrots and yoghurts - how exciting. The very wet lawn has been mown, lunch was leftovers from Tuesday and now the hoover is calling me. Finally the sewingmachine is trying to tempt me over so I may just pay her a visit and have some me time before my aldi steak (its very good meat) and slimming world chips for tea - I know how to live!!

  • Well done on keeping to the shopping list. I did not. Oven cleaner, minced beef and soya milk became £40 of shopping. Nothing that I cannot use, and meat for the month is sorted, but I am still a bit mad at myself!

Yay for 20p. £28... Could you maybe make something and sell it? On Facebook I follow 'dolly dearlove' and 'Sopharoos' and they both craft madly with sewing machines, fabric, and for dolly a lot of glitter... they seem to make a lot, but of course it is dependent on the time put into the crafting. I would never like to say that they did not deserve the cash they earned. Sopharoos made a personalised cushion for my Jellytots daddy as his Christmas present 2 years ago. It is his most favourite thing.

Well liltdiddylitn I've ony gone and done it - I have set up a facebook selling page!! Now I need to make some things to sell!! I figured that setting up a page - "Millie's Makes" might make me put the nine yards in!! This morning I shall be making some microwavable bowl holders - fabric bowls that you sit your bowl in before putting in the microwave to stop burning your hands. something relatively quick to start building up stock. Let's see how this goes.

Oh - and found another pesky 5p! New target is £27.95

  • The new page looks fabulous Ninno - I think it's a great idea. I've liked as Bee Garden Art which is my page. Good luck, I'm sure you're going to do really well - the cushions are beautiful.

No - just 9 at the moment .....but from little acorns.

I am charging £3.99 plus p n p - you should really measure your bowl to ensure a good fit. If you want one then measure from the rim, down the side, across the bottom and then up to the rim to the other side - mine was 10 inches.

BTW - the scales are going down - I may just lose those 2lbs as well by Tuesday after all!!

  • Wow! I am loving the owls!!! If I order 2, for the exact same sized bowls, can you tell me what the P&P would be please? *off to measure* - need to discover what the jellytot has done with my phone so that I can 'like' as my laptop is an unknown device!

Yay to the scales!!! Go you! :D

You would be my first order - yay! The postage would be £ 2.80 - they are not heavy - just bulky. Let me know. x
