Six year retirement plan

Not much to report but I have got someone interested in the contents of my craft room for £200. Would clear a great space and the money would clearly be of help so let's hope that it works out!44 day challenge

Well - the buyer has been and gone leaving a huge space and £200 for the kitty. What a result! I have also ordered the winter fuel which is 45p a litre at that moment. The £200 will almost pay for it but I am still counting it towards the £650 target. Feeling good44 day challenge

Thank you - and the good news just keeps on coming. The enforced retirement looks as if its been held off for another year so I am taking this as a positive sign but a healthy warning to get myself in order. This weekend I have been sewing presents and orders. Along the way I have come across 4 sewing patterns that were free with magazines - I have sold them for £3 each plus postage so that's another £12 to add to the kitty. I have been putting this cash into one of those sealed tins (a friend gave me 3 small ones) and the plan is to open it and pay the cash in at the beginning of the Christmas holidays. There was already some cash in there so I am guessing that there's not much short of £300 in the tin - not bad for just over a week's effort!44 day challenge

I think I'm close to the point of being willing to spend £200 to get a huge space cleared. Wow I would never have thought of selling those patterns etc. I wish I was not such a spanner of a left-hander. I love knitting but I am so bad at it and take so long it isn't worth the effort. I can't even peel potatoes, so I am doomed lol.
Keep on going! Well done on the tin of cash, sounds amazing!! xx

Well - the tin is now nearing completion and it's getting difficult to put more coins in - but I am determined to keep going until Friday 20th December when I can open it up and pay the cash in! Made another £4 today with an order for another microwave bowl snuggly.
I am also nearing completion of the christmas presents. Just three cushions to go should see me safely past the finishing post. I even received my Tower of London poppy yesterday - so now it's time to get wrapping and writing those cards!44 day challenge
