Who are their 'solicitors'?
Have you complained to the BPA yet? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Letter has come from shakespeares, will complain to BPA now, this is first reply since we asked for code...0

Shakespeares are also debt collectors, so this seems to me to be a debt collector letter (which carries no legal weight) rather than a LBC which must not be ignored.

I'm astounded you haven't yet complained to the BPA. That advice was given to you over 3 weeks ago and following it would have, in all possibility, avoided the stage you are at now.
You're in real danger of sleep-walking into a default CCJ! This won't go away! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

They are just a grubby little company, trying to earn a dishonest crust. You have come to us and now they will have to pay £30+ for picking the wrong person. There is absolutely no need to concern yourself about them.
If you are up for it, bring this to the attention of your local Trading Standards Department at the Council as they have lied to you in an attempt to get money from you. Do not go to Consumer Direct/CABt, they are useless.
Also, the letter from the solicitors is unprofessional, no legal obligations attach to this alleged debt, post in on here and someone will advise you where you can complain to, hopefully, get the solicitors reprimanded. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Thanks guys, I've emailed BPA today, detailing the issues.
Re the letter i'll do that too cheers.0 -
Just a thought...
?..is it too late to go through a company like parking appeals, my daughter is flapping now and if they can sort it or £16 its looking promising in her eyes? Or shall i just wait for the BPA response first?0 -

Email them and ask. They're very approachable and know exactly what they're doing - they are also contributors here and on PePiPoo and we can vouch for their trustworthiness. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. But you said in your opening post 3 weeks ago that it was Premier Parking Solutions, who are BPA AOS members.
If we'd had the correct details then, advice would have been different and might have saved you all of this hassle.
Just to make sure we've got all this right, could you please scan/photo a copy of the PPC paperwork here for us to examine and be able to advise you correctly this time! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum.
