I stir fry cabbage as a Chinese side dish – I fry it with sesame seeds and add a dash of soy.
Or you could shred it thinly and make ‘crispy seaweed’ by deep frying it and sprinkling with a little salt & sugar.
Or just stir fry it with other veg as a main dish.
Past its best cabbage is also good in soups and stews and is great in a curry. Cabbage goes really well with curry flavours.Your home is at risk if you do not keep up repayments on a mortgage or other loan secured on it.0 -

I don't know why I've forgotten this, because we have had this for years. You can have sweet and sour cabbage. It is usually made with Chinese cabbage, but there is no reason why you can't make it with any kind of cabbage. The active ingredients of a sweet and sour sauce are vinegar and sugar.Small change can often be found under seat cushions.
