Cook it lightly, drain well and when cold, split into portions and freeze. It just takes a minute in the microwave when you are short of time to reheat.
Alternatively, cook bacon and leeks in some butter and garlic and then use the larger leaves to wrap around into parcels (secure with cocktail sticks) and steam, serving with bearnaise sauce or onion sauce on top. Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

I'm with the stir fry brigade - we do ours with a little onion, a red pepper, beansprouts, soy sauce, a little fish sauce (you can't taste it - it doesn't taste fishy, just more "authentic"!:p) and serve it with egg noodles.
Yummy!!!
(Off to buy a savoy cabbage tomorrow...;))

While your spuds are cooking steam about half of your cabbage above them(cut out the hard core). Then mash up the spuds with plenty of butter & black pepper & stir your cabbage into it - yummy. Use the other half as the base of an italian soup with lots of beans and other veg.0
