Evening
£4.67 potted today. I will buy a new pot on Saturday because today I had to resort to shaking the pot and whilst doing so, a picture fell down the back of the chest of drawers that the pot, and the picture is on. I had to drag the drawers out to recover the photo. Leaving it there was not an option because it is a picture of my hero, my dad :A

Potted a few more coins today nothing big but my pot is definitely getting heavier, I'm hoping in 10weeks I can fill it, there's still too much space in it at the moment.
I'm so pleased you're so excited at saving, Island.girl, and at least this year has given you the encouragement to do well for next year. So, your Birthday is 2 days after opening day and 1 day after starting day for 2015, a lot of excitement around then for you!32b3in2013 wrote: »Only 10 weeks to go  where has this year gone?? I got a car :j I am pleased with it.

A gold star for you, 32b3, BTW, thanks a lot. :staradmin I'm do chuffed for you with the car, I hope it gives you great service and safe miles! ...and go steady with your pots and pictures, SP's aren't supposed to be missiles!
I quite agree with you on the "how much do you spend on Christmas.." threads, jakes-mum, as so long as people stay within what is sensible then why ruin the magic of it all by counting every penny.
Be sensible potters, you know what your loved ones need and what you CAN afford, go with that.moohound wrote:I know, but the last time we washed it ourselves my Mum 'accidentally' threw a bucket of cold water over me, she said she was aiming at the roof:rotfl:
It has gone in for some work under warranty and OH agreed to have it washed as well at the main dealer, the car wash place do it for £25 I would have taken it there, but its too late now. It does need doing the back is green, and the front is covered in dead bugs.
The thing with my Mum and my son will be a struggle as he is an only grandchild and he is the image of my late, much loved Dad.
Naughty Mummy eh, moohound! Though I bet it gave you both a laugh. Thanks for the car wash pricing, I didn't even know they/ or some of them do it. Our storage firm does, but I've no idea of the cost - yet! We'll possibly leave it until next spring. I see where some of your problems now come from with your DS being the only DGS and so like your dear Dad - good as well as bad in all things!
Good to see you've done your duty and lessened DH's burden, Vicky!!!
Lovely to see you, Rosy...your feet too! :rotfl:
......you too, Trixxibell, not your feet like Rosy's!
Excellent potting that £15, Saver-upper! Far better off in there than spent. :j
£15 in the pot today!!Keep potting well, sealed potters, that date is getting closer.....exactly 9 weeks to go!!Have a lovely evening and great Thursday, folks, and - to all our Scottish members, here's hoping the vote goes your way!

its on the moneysaving and marriages boardLOTS of interesting threads in that section :rotfl:
Am feeling a bit unloved this evening after DS decided again to start the 'how do I make money without actually doing anything' conversation with me, and when I tried to explain that work requires effort and sometimes require doing things we don't really enjoy, and pointed out that there are lots of jobs I have to do that take alot of time including the 10+ hours a day I spend trying to win him and his sister's christmas, he informed me he that he thought I was wasting my time trying to win things, and couldn't quite grasp the concept of no comping, no christmasWay to make me feel appreciated
No pennies today as didn't spend any cash, hopefully some pennies tomorrow as i'm sure I need something from the shop, but im flummoxed if I can remember what it is :eek:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000
