Ahh, ill keep plugging away at him, unfortunately he is a mini version of his dad, who, at mid life crisis age, still thinks whats on the cash machine screen is how much money we have to spend :rotfl:
    :D
My DH always adds his overdraft facility into his balance  Oh well, can't complain really

  • A crispy 5 er today - I keep thinking about all the things I "want" and could probably afford with my tin (once its contents are revealed) but then its been so rewarding saving it I don't want to waste that.
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!
  • Another £5.50 in the pot yesterday. Not sure if I'll have any more over the weekend though.
  • Have potted £42.53 today. The £40 was part of a goodwill gesture after a complaint and 1p was road change.

Aww, glad your crisis is over Saver-upper, and obviously your now on a more fortunate road all round as proved with your £10 :j :j

Well done on your 'Good Will' money Kerry! Thats even better than roadkill! :D

Ahh Always Happy, you'll find something to spend your pot on, though I always find it very hard to actually hand over the cash when the time comes :rotfl: if I had my way we'd save every years money and never spend it! But, Dh and I agreed that as its money we would have wasted, its our 'want' money not our 'need' money ;) so it feels like we're getting our 'wants' for freeeeeeeeeeeeee :D

£1.11 in my pot today after clearing out my purse of anything under 50p
