    Morning All!

Hope you all had a good weekend?

I have received a new tax code! I am guessing everyones tax allowance is increasing in April. Running some basic figures through a tax calculator... I should be about £6 a week better off.. about £310 a year! Not to be sniffed at!! Am thinking of setting aside whatever the increase is and then putting it toward paying off OH! If I save it for 17 weeks, I can bring my DFD forward by a week! lol

    Be back laters!

    Been thinking.... as I do!

I had forgotten that I was planning on diverting the £10 a week that I currently set aside for OH's birthday into an account to reduce the time left on repaying OH. So, I can add this to the (anticipated) £6 increase in my weekly wages = £16 a week and every 6 & a quarter weeks I can reduce my DFD by a week!

The £16 a week is not going to be realised until April (when tax code change happens). I currently have 38 weeks left to go. First week of having £16 a week is about 8 weeks away, so that leaves me with 30 weeks to pay. I should be able to bring my DFD forward by at least 4 weeks. WHOOP WHOOP!! (confused? You probably could be... but it make sense in my head!! gulp!)

    Hi!

I realised this morning, that despite my love of spreadsheets I have never created one for the re-payments to OH. I think this is probably because there was never any scope to over pay and it was just £100 a week straight from my account. BUT NOW!!!.... I am going to create a spreadsheet so I can see what affect my little overpayments have on my DFD! Excited? Muchly!!! lol

So, it is Friday again and money has moved accordingly! Need to pick up a Valentines card for OH on my way home tonight. We are only doing cards this year! We have been together 11+ years and I really do not need a commercially inspired bunch of flowers to confirm he loves me. We are off out for dinner on Sat night with OH's sister and brother in law as a treat for OH's birthday, so we will get a nice meal at no cost!! YAY!

Other than that, not a lot to report. I have added my O.Poll balance to my signature just to track what I earn! Looking forward to getting my first payout of £40.00.

Right, off to create a nice new shiny page on my spreadsheet! Hope you are all having as much fun!!? Nats xxx

  • Ok, so new spreadsheet up and running!! YAY!!

    Current DFD = 30th October.
    If I pay an extra £10 a week. DFD = 9th October
If I pay an extra £16 a week. DFD = 2nd October (with some change!!)

So if I want to bring my DFD forward by another week, I need to find £90.00. I reckon with O.Poll, Q.co and rounding up odd amounts in my accounts etc. I can do this relatively easily. Making my DFD 25th September!!

So this is my new target!!

    I like this a lot! :O)

  • In the interest of boosting my Q.co balance, I opened a new bingo site account last night. £10 deposited = £20 cashback. Hoping to have some wins too to boost my £10 profit!!

Have a great weekend all! Happy Valentines Day to you All! x
