Have had a little browse through TCB and Q.co this morning and think I will take advantage of signing up to a credit referencing agency on each, for both myself and OH. Not because I really care what the reports say...but because it could return about £47.00 in cashback! The Q.co one is showing as faster paying - so could go toward my car service / MOT!

Having problems with O.Poll today. Shows me a survey.. but wont connect to it! Grrrr!

    Happy sunny Friday morning everyone!

Always nice when the sun shines on payday!

    Soooo - whats new? Well.....
Been online and moved money to where it needs to be. There was a little extra this week in OT, so have added that into the 'fund' to go towards car service / MOT.
Managed to get a couple of extra surveys done on O.Poll yesterday. Nothing new due to pay out on Q.co.
Haven't bought any cigarettes for 2 weeks now. I am officially saving money now! Looking forward to seeing what kind of affect this has on my share of the CC bill each month!
Full of cold this morning - started yesterday but then vanished in the afternoon, only to come back with a vengeance about 11 last night!! You know it is not going to be a great day when you wake up with one nostril already running! I hope I perk up as the day goes on as I am hoping to make the most of OH not being at home tonight or most of the weekend to have a major deep clean / tidy and do some cashback bits!

Need to look at this Sainsbury fuel thing - OH mentioned it yesterday but could give me any details!
Found a house I like... but its not built yet!! OH off to see the developer on Monday to see what options we might have!!

That's it for me unless I think of anything else!!

    How nice is my boss?

Well, obviously you don't know.. but the answer is VERY! He has just handed me a 10p/ltr voucher off fuel for Sainsbury!! Well, he doesn't need it as he has a diesel car and we have a company diesel fuel tank!

    Morning All!

Friday again! Can't believe we are in March - time is going quickly!

It is payday - money has been moved as necessary. It looks like I have my 2 free months on the car warranty, so I have transferred the £24.98 into the car pot (for service and MOT).

Not a lot else to report. Apparently I am finally getting my pay rise that was first discussed last June!! That will be nice!! No idea how much ... or indeed when - but it is coming! YAY!

Hoping to make it out for a jog / run this weekend. Was supposed to go last weekend but came down with another stinking cold. Feeling better now and managed circuit training on Wednesday. Really need to get out and run!!

Fleabay is s l o w at the moment. Had a quick count up of the number of items sold since I started back at the end of October...
    OCT X 5
    NOV X 31
    DEC X 8
    JAN X 6
    FEB X 4
    MAR X 2 (to date)

Wondering if I should just save everything up til November as that is obviously THE MONTH!! lol I have 7 items on there at the mo - 6 on 30 days BIN and one on a 10 day auction. Hoping they will go - if not they will get re-listed. I am sure the right person will stumble across them eventually! lol

Right, must do some work - make sure they believe I am worthy of my payrise... which of course I am!! I AM FABULOUS!!

So yesterday lunchtime I go to the cashpoint to withdraw my weekly spends as usual. The machine gave my card back, but no cash. I wasn't really paying a lot of attention, so I tried again and this time I noticed a message on the screen saying "your provider cannot authorise this transaction" and it gave my card back again!

Now, due to my spreadsheet I know there is money in my account, so I was more than a little concerned... Until I took a closer look at my card and realised it had expired!! Oops!! Dug my new card out at home last night - should be all good to go today! YAY! Panic over!

Have a great weekend all! xxx

    Hi Miss Fabulous!!

Lol at your bank card, at least it hadn't thought it had dished the money out and actualyl hadn't. OP is going up nicely for me as well, I'm hoping April payout on that!

So, after dragging my ar5e out into the sunshine Saturday afternoon for a run I thought I would use the cashpoint at the supermarket where I had parked to get money out with my new card. But the machine was out of action!! Someone / something really didn't want me to have any cash in my purse this weekend!

I am up to £15.05 from O.Poll now - over a third of the way to my first payout! April payout would be good for me too!

My OH is doing my head in. I think he has finally realised the benefits of things like meal planning etc - but actually putting something into place to save / budget for the future is doing my head in! I think the worst thing at the moment is that we want to move. Well, I do and OH has said that he really does and that it will be this year - but unless I do everything it is never going to happen. Made him an appointment for the sales office for a new development.. admittedly this is in the next town as the development has only just started and there is nothing there yet. But he goes to the wrong place and instead of calling me or the woman he was supposed to meet, he just goes off shopping!! I mean... really? After a couple of blunt texts from me he did try calling the woman and he went to the right place - but there was no-one around. Apparently this is a sign that it wasn't meant to be!! AAarrrrgggH!!

And I know he is right when he says that he doesn't want to over-commit to a mortgage in terms of repayments, but our rent is so cheap that there appears to be a huge jump to what a mortgage will cost us and we have got used to our lifestyle! But to get a house in the general area where we live, we are going to have to pay out more... I reckon almost double our rent (and that is with a pretty decent sized deposit)!! And we are not being greedy, all I really want is 3 beds and off-road parking. OH would like a garage on top of this. Not a huge list of requirements really! I can just see us spending this year going nowhere again!! :O(

Any way - onwards and upwards... there may be a new survey on O.Poll for me to complete!
