House-sitting ... yep, just that. My boss has a dog so when they go away, I look after the house and the dog for them. Get to please myself in a 5 bed house with a hot-tub for however long they are away. It's not exactly stressful lol... walk dog twice a day, feed him 3 times and then that's it! They have a cleaner in once a week so I just tidy / clean up behind myself and thats it.... oh, and I get paid for it!! :D The summer time is the best - long walks on the beach and sunbathing in the garden! Bliss!

To prevent another CC disaster like last month, I have just paid the CC in full and will get OH's half off him over the weekend. Have temporarily dipped into my car loan fund, but I'm not worried as it wasn't for my half and it will be back in there in a matter of days.

    Happy Friday Peeps!

Well, it feels like I may finally be succumbing to the lurgy that OH has had on and off since before Christmas.... just in time for my weekend off work, great! Hopefully it wont come to anything much!

House-sitting money paid and moved into the car fund! Whoop!

    Things to do this weekend....
    General housework
Put xmas decs back in the loft
Buy, write and post 2 x wedding acceptance cards and 2 x birthday cards
    Return OH's slippers
    Sort out OH's pre-paid prescription

    Not too much really.

Off to see my mum and S-Dad after work tonight - they came back from their Christmas holiday last weekend, but have both been under the weather, so I have avoided them! I've got to see them though as I have their Christmas presents to give them!!

Oh, I forgot to mention that one of OH's ppi complaints was dismissed, but they awarded a commission based refund (Plevin). Now, by their own admission they have very little info for the CC and have 'assumed' the value due based on what they do know. Added to my 'to do list' for the weekend is to see if there are any more Statements to prove a higher CC balance (therefore higher ppi) to send them to revise their offer.
The other CC company I put in for Plevin refund on should have replied by the 8th Jan. Nothing yet. tut tut tut

Soooo, not a lot done over the weekend at all. Been trying to shake this lurgy that has reached me. In short on Saturday all I managed was to return an Amazon item, pop a couple of bits to the tip, buy 2 birthday cards and some thank you cards, and go out for a curry. Sunday was even less productive with a quick food shop + went to the local retail park to buy 2 x blinds (we managed to break one in the bedroom during the week).
So, this week I really do need to get back on the ppi bandwagon for OH.
On Friday I put in my pay / holiday split request... that came back approved, so I have just adjusted my spreadsheet accordingly!
My aim for today is to just get through the working day, get home and sleep. Zzzz Zzzz. The lousy weather isn't making me feel any more cheerful either. :(

Aww hope you feel better soon :)

Have a hot chocolate and a few tablets. Get plenty of rest!! I think you’ve done quite a bit over the weekend considering. More than me I think!!

    Cheers camz! :)
Had some day nurse this morning.... took away the ill feeling and replaced it with a lovely shakey / low blood pressure feeling - not sure which was worse to be honest lol.
Low blood pressure / blood sugar levels always make me feel nauseous but I know eating will make me feel better. Which is fine until I am genuinely "sick" and then I wanna eat to get rid of the sick feeling but can't because it doesn't stay down! lol
Can't wait to go to sleep tonight!

Wow that sounds awful. Tablets have like zero effect on me, like I never feel worse but rarely feel better as well. Blood pressure issues can make you faint and stuff apparently, so do keep yourself in check!!

    Sleep well :)

    Morning All!

Nothing like some chicken soup and a good sleep to make you feel (a bit) better!! :) Feeling well enough to stay away from any medication today anyway!

Did find the energy to look over OH's ppi Plevin offer last night - have a question or 2 so will pop over to the re-claim board later to see if any of the knowledgeable peeps over there can help.
On the other ppi Plevin complaint I re-read the letter last night and the deadline is the 18th, not the 8th of Jan - so not late yet and I am hopeful there should be a letter from them this week.

Tonight will just be a few bits n pieces at home - sausages, mash and loads of veg for dinner and another reasonably early night! Need to feel better as I really want to go to circuits tomorrow!!
