Morning All!
What a rubbish weather morning!
camz, really can't believe you subjected yourself to my earlier diary! You must have been looking for something to send you to sleep (as you were here gone midnight!) lol.
I do look back every now and then and I am glad my serious debt-busting days are over! You might notice from the beginning of this diary that I re-borrowed around another £6900 from my OH whilst repaying the first amount! Despite all my plans things didn't always go to plan! The first few months were the worst in terms of trying to get to grips with money (although little things do always crop up to throw you off track)! The bulk of the years just drifted by with little plans en-route to keep me motivated (and sometimes amused by their failings!). The last push (really since the beginning of this diary) was the easiest to get through! It's all a learning curve!start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

I've got a long journey ahead, it's great to see someone else who has got through it.
& yeah, I had friends over last night, I cooked for like 7 people. Was a really fun night, I charged everyone £3.50 for the food - felt super cheeky but £3.50 each for a full night of food and chat is a bargain... Else that's almost £30 I forked out!! Everyone was fine about it. I popped on here before the girlfriend popped over, she said she would be 15 mins but was an hour, arrived with a full face of make-up ready for getting into bed with me lol. I was exhausted, didn't get to sleep until like 3am as she wanted to talk and do stuff... On the plus side, she made me breakfast this morning, as she cooked I was mentally noting all the oil she was using etc :rotfl: Went through the calories earlier today and it was like 1200 calories :eek::eek:
Keep up the good work!BC 0/15305.83 MBNA: 0/11231.16 TESCO 0/822.87 LOAN 0/4272.670 -
Welcome to the weekend everyone!
Logging on today as I am at work... Boo!
This afternoon involves a pop into town - I want/need a proper address book. Will also do a quick food shop. Tonight we are out to dinner with my parents (Dad + step-mum). Will drive there, taxi home and pick up the car tomorrow. Would really like to factor in a quick nap at some point this afternoon, but not sure I can
Remembered last night that there is an Income Tax change in April this year too!!
Love the idea of everyone chipping in a small amount for a lovely evening of food and chat!
I really do need to do some work today - I have spent too much of each day so far this week planning my own financial freedom!!
Have a great weekend All - catch you laters xstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Morning All! It's cold this morning! Brrr.
Weekend summary...
Bought some black ankle boots on Saturday - not marked as being in the Sale... went through the till at £8.40!!Picked up some socks and a pair of black leggings. Total bill £20.90, had a £20.00 gift card = 90p spend.
OH under the weather (again) so didn't make dinner Sat night. My Dad picked me up & paid for dinner so my only expenditure was a taxi home ... that was £17.00 though!!
Yesterday I popped home to see OH and dragged him out for some fresh air. Did a spot of food shopping to keep him going for a couple of days as he's not feeling great bless him. I grabbed some fresh pasta from the fridge at home that OH didn't want. That's still in my fridge for tonight, there's not much so will add loads of veg and a tomato based sauce - didn't really eat yesterday (which is VERY unlike me!)
£20.42 in my purse.. that should last me until Friday!
Nothing else to report! Need to think ahead as I have quite a few birthdays between now and the end of February - and a wedding to attend on Valentines Day!!start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Looks like we may be paid on the 26th instead of the 29th this month, which is nice as it means I can tweak my spreadsheet again!
Last night of house-sitting tonight. Will need to go there after work tomorrow and walk the dog, but then it's back home! YAY! I think OH needs a bit of TLC as he is still poorly. Money for house-sitting should appear within a week or so!
Nothing else to report at the moment. Need to pick up something cheap for dinner to go with the veg that is left in the fridge and that is about as exciting as my life gets at the moment!!start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
end = Mon 28th Sept 2015 DEBT FREE!

Pro.Ac balance slowly creeping up ... now at £11.96!
Home tonight YAY! I always treat house-sitting as a bit of a mini holiday... okay, I'm still at work, but I'm right by the sea, have a dog to walk and as it's someone elses house, there's very little that actually needs doing - just tidy up after myself! I can read, watch what I want on the TV and just generally please myself. The novelty wears off though and I am now ready to go home!
Nothing money-wise to report other than I picked up some reduced salmon steaks last night, 2 for £2.42! One for dinner last night with steamed veg the other cooked and ready to have with some salad for lunch!
Happy Wednesday everyone!start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

What is this “house sitting” anyway? Is it literally being in someone’s house whilst they’re away?
I eat like 2 salmon fillets at once - I don’t think I could resist and save them for 2 meals!!
Wish I lived close to the seasuper jealous!
Seems you’re doing great as alwaysBC 0/15305.83 MBNA: 0/11231.16 TESCO 0/822.87 LOAN 0/4272.670
