I get those when there are no gnats in town, it's one of my versions of breakouts; they don't half itch and they're tender, and I get them on the side of my nose near my eyes tooI'm always on the lookout for miracle spot-zappers, I have Australian Bodycare Tea Tree roll-on but it's not strong enough yet if it were any stronger I wouldn't dare put it near my eyes
Did you get a doc's certificate? In your situation it's not feasible to stay away from the surgery, you need your piece of paper to take to the DSS (or whatever it's called these days). Hope you're better soon!
Sorry to stray so far off topic.

No, don't get sick pay.......
I've had some help from Benefits board and have downloaded self certifying note thingy and have called doc's - who told me to stay away! - and they will make a cert out for me..... Yes, MrsE - it is the piggy thing...

Aghh I did didn't I?! Will I never learn?!
I found another tube of moisturiser today (this comes as a result of having packed up and moved house nearly 3 weeks ago and then not unpacking properly...) it's an 'oil free' one from Simple. So far its working out ok, though I think I used too much... I was running late for work having decided it was a good idea to watch the news whilst I was getting ready. I get distracted if the TV is on in the morning.
Besides... when I got to work everyone was stood around outside at the fire assembly point having been evacuated because there was a supposed Gas Leak somewhere in the building.
Needless to say we didn't make it in here til ten to ten and no1 was really bothered that I was 5 mins late to start with
I'm wearing EB Sunshine again today. I am quite liking it.
Shame there's no sunshine outside....

Just to let you all know...
Avon have now launched their own mineral make up powders and kabuki brushes in the UK.
They have really cheap introductory offers.... 10g jars are about £7 and brushes are £3.
I'm not really an Avon fan, but my bf's sister is a representative, so whilst looking through her catalogue I came across the '100% naturally derived minerals'.
I have my kit from Southern Magnolia, so don't need any at the moment. But I've ordered their kabuki brush to try. You can't go wrong for £3.
Worth a try!0 -

I'd seen the Avon Mineral Make-up. There would be only one problem for me, that I have found since I was younger. I used to use other Make-up from Avon and always found that there wasn't a shade of foundation or concealer etc that suited my skin tone. It was always too dark and often made me look orange.
EB all the way for me now!!
Am so impressed with the range of tones they have and I've found so many that actually suit me so I'm a bit like a kid in a candy shop trying to decide which to get! hehe.

They've been doing it for quite a while but didn't get terribly good reviews for texture - if I remember rightly!
I can't find ingredients, but "made with 100% pure mineral pigments" could simply mean that whatever mineral pigments are included in the powder are 100% pure, not necessarily that the powder is made 100% from mineral pigments, if you see what I mean.
The kabuki must be a great buy for money-saving trialists, anyway :T

PS: I don't know if there's something wrong with my lappy, but for a few days when I type my posts they've been overlapping the smilies at the side and I can't see what I'm typing :huh:0 -

I think Avons came very Talc laden - which in itself is a mineral but not suited for mature skins
My SD had a freebie mineral from Avon and loved it (shes 22 and gorgeous of course) BUT saying that it didnt seem to last five minutes so I think she was applying it as we would an old fashioned loose powder0 -

There's me, picking holes in Avon's comms when I'm no better myself - I should have said that my typing was underlapping the smilies
No-one else having probs then?
