I wouldn't go anywhere near SpaceNK  I also think that Liz Earle moisturisers are all rather oily, even the Light one.

    I love SpaceNK:confused:

There can't be anything more tried and tested than the Neutrogena which you know suits you, and the dreaded Paula Begoun (Cosmetics Cop) tends to review Neutrogena stuff as "does what it says on the tin", which is a lot nicer than she is about many more expensive brands - I wouldn't go anywhere near SpaceNK  I also think that Liz Earle moisturisers are all rather oily, even the Light one. I'm trying her Cleanse & Polish for the first time and can feel oil in it so will probably revert to Gale Hayman's gel cleanser from Direct Cosmetics (one gets bored, misguidedly, because the 473ml bottle lasts such a long time ;) ).

I got the free Nude sample from Nicola @ EB today, she popped in a Barley just in case Nude was too light. How nice is that?! I used the Barley with a "contaminated" brush and it went on quite nicely, if a bit heavier than usual. I might buy another brush but need to rationalise my collection. I'm a long-handled kabuki fan too :)

I perhaps should get Neutrogena again... as I have said before it works... I just wondered if there was anything that was anymore beneficial to my skin that that was.... but then as the saying goes... 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it?!' Anyway, I've got another one to try... I was in Lush at the weekend looking for shampoo with seaweed in it and ended up getting some of their moisturiser.... Vanishing Cream... Has anyone tried it? It felt nice when I tried a little in the store, and I liked how they described it as Low-Fat and minimal Oil.... and its got Witch Hazel in it which obviously is good for oily, spot prone skin. I've tried it for the past couple of days and I must admit, I'm not sure... It feels quite heavy and bizarrely quite oily, I can feel it on my skin even now nearly 4 hours after applying it.

I'll give it another couple of days, try to adapt how I am applying it but I still am not sure it's going to be right for me. I wonder if they do refunds if you're not satisfied with their products... because it was quite expensive... another case of me being gullible and getting taken in by the advertising again!

Why don't you like SpaceNK Veronarona? I must admit, I've never bought anything from there myself but I have used some products that my friend has gotten from there... and he's given me some of the samples that they gave him. The staff there seem very knowledgeable.

Nicola does sound very helpful indeed. :) Thats great that she's given you another sample to try out. I've been using Sunshine this weekend... I had said before I thought it would be too dark but looking at it now... it's not as bad as I thought. It gives me a nice glow so maybe my skin isn't as pale as I keep thinking it is. Its nice to have such a wide selection of shades to choose from... I've always had to go for the lightest in other foundations I have tried because the choice is so limited (I was told by No7 to look somewhere else last time I was there, the rep said my skin was too pale for their foundations.... how rude I thought... my response should have been "Surely your foundation is too dark for my skin!?")

I couldn't find any long handled Kabuki's in town this weekend so I am going to head online to the link you'd given me earlier and have a look on there. Thanks :D

    Have a good weekend Amy!

I had a good weekend.... it's always a good weekend when shopping straight after payday :D. I hope you had a good one (or at least a decent one and felt a little better?)

I like SpaceNK too, I've never bought any of their stuff but have had samples passed to me by a friend. Their products are massively expensive though so I would only go in there if I wanted a specific thing and knew that it would work... I'd go looking for samples first I think!!

You answered your own question, Amy ;) There's nothing wrong with them otherwise, but it's so unlikely that a very expensive product will be significantly better for your skin than your Neutrogena.

I also do like Liz Earle Light - but it's got quite a bit of oil in it so I wouldn't recommend it for very oily skins.

    Oops yea, I guess I did really didn't I?!
I'm so not with it today....! I've already confused a guy in Subway, blanked a security guard at work who I usually stand and have long conversations with, and called 3 of my colleagues by completely the wrong name.

Could be me too! Although I am not back at work yet... I've just posted on Benefits forum. I wonder if I can claim sickness benefit or something - having lost a weeks pay already - can't afford to lose any more money! I've never claimed before so am a complete dunce about it!

Amy, a gnat bit me right on the end of my nose in my sleep! The MMU has covered the redness beautifully!

Oh no! Thats not nice being bitten... I can guess anyway :undecided That is often one thing I don't have to worry about. Insects don't bite me... guess my blood is obviously not that nice... I think I am safe from Vampires then :D

Great that MMU has covered it up though. I am managing to wipe all my make-up off today... not good but I don't think my new moisturiser is really doing any good. Applying it has effectively made me start the day with Oily skin  Seriously am considering seeing whether Lush will do refunds if your not satisfied with a product... my guess is not, but makes me wonder how they can advertise something as 'Low-fat' and 'low-oil'. I guess the key word is LOW, if it has said NO-Oil or Oil Free it would be better.
