Sheer Cover

I used to use sheer cover, i ordered the 90 day supply, totally love it, then i started buying my shade off ebay, much much cheaper.
Though only last week i decided to give another mineral make up a try. While i do love sheer cover, it's a bit pricey. I couldn't get my tub of shade on ebay for anything under £15 (4g tube).
So i tried a different type of mineral foundation off ebay, from a really good seller and has a shop etc. I got 9 diff things for only £15, 2 concelears, foundation, blush, bronzer, finishing powder, finishing veil, 2 brushes and 2 samples of eye shadow. Im really impressed with it, it does exactly the same as sheer cover, but it going to last me longer because everything is mineral, as you would know sheer cover concealer is not mineral at all.
Big plus for me though is the price and the quality is exactly the same.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -
that sounds like the kit i get from southern magnolia. they are so helpful too if it doesn't match they send out some more minerals until it does!0

That particular company have confirmed to me that they include rice powder (albeit 'kosher') in all their foundations, so theirs can't qualify as "so pure you can sleep in it" - rice powder can nourish bacteria, which minerals can't.
Similarly, Laura Mercier's foundation contains "15 active amino acids...", and L'Oreal's mineral foundation has other stuff in too.*
For those wanting to try pure mineral foundation, read the ingredients (and, some say, avoid bismuth, which may cause itching). Even then, you may need to try different brands/blends before you find one that suits - some, like Bare Escentuals, can accentuate pores.
*That's not to say that Laura Mercier's and L'Oreal's are not wonderful foundations.

Thank you for this thread! Was actually watching the commercial for sheer cover and saw bare escentuals yesterday on QVC. Wasnt sure which one to go for, but I have now ordered my samples from Lily Lolo. If I like them might go for the stater kit from american company.0

here have been some similar threads like the above one. Have a look at my comments on Everyday Minerals. I stand by it, its the best makeup I have ever worn. I have never been able to wear makeup everyday without breaking out since finding this. Its amazing and half the price of Bare Escentuals, which contains bismuth and some can find it to be itchy on the skin.0
