I do not like to bend over and get it shoved right royaly for no reason.
the moral high ground is priceless - as soon as you descend to the level of someone who is having a fit, you lose it. being calm and sorting things out like an adult, without swearing and shouting is what being in customer service is about.
i have plenty of self respect thank you very much - and because i managed not to insult customers, got respect from them and from colleagues too.:happyhear0 -
whipping boy more like!
Tell you what, I'll give you £10 and you can allow me to verbally abuse for an hour.0 -
Thanks for all your comments.
As i said i e-mailed millies over a week ago and still no word.
A few comments on here suggest i was being sarcastic and i take your point but thinking back i can honestly say i asked for service with a smile on my face, unlike assisstant.
I also have worked in retail for many years and have been complained about once and it isnt nice so i dont make a habit of complaining, in fact this is the first ever complaint i have made to any company.
As i say no reply from them, no big surprise there, but if i owned a company no matter how big or small i think id want to know how staff behaved towards customers.
By the way, are millies cookies nice?Just to win anything would be great!!0 -
Ive never eaten those cookies. Everytime I walk past a Millies cookies, there are always fat people in the queue dribbling......
I guess Millies must be doing something right.
I personally wouldnt eat them....ewwww!0 -

Yup,
Im thinking of writing an letter to Millies cookies informing them that although I do not purchase from them, I do however do not wish to view obese people standing around outside their outlets like drug addicts waiting for a fix.
If I complained to the shop manager do you think he would offer me a cookie?0 -
worth a try, i suppose.you might run the the risk of being lynched though.Just to win anything would be great!!0
