to be honest the time we stood there i didnt want to interupt the girl as we thought she may have been ordering stuff or whatever, but it then got to the point where then you know that she was being rude. if she had popped her up up and said "wont be a moment", then ok. but the fact another assisstant came in and they spoke to each other for a bit then continued to blank us was too much.thats when i spoke up only to be met with the most unpleased face i have ever seen. i have worked in shops as a cahier etc, and if id ever have treated customers like that i know id be out on my ear.

Actually im trying to ascertain what it is your actually looking for. If you read my post i did ask that, then went on to say I HOPE its not compensation.

how can you have compensation for bad service, i would like an acknowledgment from someone at miiles as in my opinion we werent treated as customers who were wanting to spend some money in their shop. i did read your post,did you read mine? i got my next step thanks from pulliptears as she suggested writing to head office.

Sometimes people are browsing.
Sometimes people dont want to be asked "can I help you?"
Sometimes people just want to stand there hoping for inspiration.
Sometimes people are just plain odd.

Sometimes the sales/counter person is annoyed.
Sometimes the sales/counter person is in the wrong job.
Sometimes the sales/counter person is rude.

Fact is,
Its a pretty pointless excecise writing a post on here about how you didnt get your cookies.

You really have to have tough skin to venture in here, as there are trolls about.

There's really no excuse for the assistant's rudeness. I work in a busy shop with a thumping headache half the time because of kids crying, the heat in the shop, the general business of the shop, yet still manage a smile or a quick hello or chat to customers depending on how busy we are
