Hey all
A very late check in, so won't say much. Mothernerd you are missed, and I hope your experience at Physio means they sort you out now and get you fixed up and back on your feet.
Hope everyone in the thunderstorms are doing ok. It's not here yet, I think it's hitting tomorrow.
No spends here, and a very hot and sticky run bagged. I am going to have to spend tomorrow as taking my mum out for afternoon tea with my sister and niece. Hopefully we can split the bill. I have made a cake for her tonight in lieu of buying something extra for her, as I did give her some money to buy a chimnea that she wanted. It's also my sister's birthday (it's really been that kind of month!) and I have made her a bracelet from when I went on a jewellery making course for a hen do the other month. Honestly, all these present dilemma's are causing me such headaches this month! At least that is 90% of the family birthdays out of the way for this year now. Phew.
The good news tonight is DH has come back from his own leaving do for his current job without having spent anything! That was another £20 we had budgeted now clawed back into our coffers. Yeay!
Oops, turns out that was quite long. Sorry.

Checking in with another no spend day yesterday, hoping to bag a couple more over the weekend as I have food to last until I go away next week and with three birthdays this month I'd rather not spend any more! Hot, sticky and muggy here, even though it's absolutely chucking it down so I'm abandoning the library for my desk at home. Kat, I totally agree - onwards and upwards!!Proud to be debt free September 2014. :j

Hi all
Confession = big spends but it was worth it. I'm starting my new job in the next month and need smart clothes. I wasn't going to go to the Next sale as my size is always sold out but I decided when I woke up early to go anyway. I spent £195 but I'm returning £46 so I've spent £149 and then I have £20 of Next vouchers = £129. I have a new suit and lots of tops & a rain coat. The only thing I need now is shoes.
I also did my grocery shopping when I was out and yesterday was a spend day as I went to the beach with my family.
Check in daily: 16/31
SFD 11/15
Groceries £127.41/£110
Odd 40.95/£65
Petrol 90/£120
Exercise 4/25
Illegal items (clothes/beauty/shoes): £129

Fmess & Munchin - I have never, ever been to a Next sale it all seems such a hassle compared to other sales, am I wrong?
Lilt - My DD started school nursery at 4 and went to playgroup before that, I can very clearly remember her 'rabbit trapped in headlights' expression when she started in reception it all seems 2 minutes ago and now we have to choose secondary schools in October, I find it all very hard to believe.
Me and DD are going to a coffee morning at church to raise funds for her guiding group so there will be a small spend. I don't have a cat in hells chance of reaching 15 SFD as July is a really bad month with all the school things going on and out of school clubs doing things for the end of term too plus the start of the school holidays and a holiday of our own.
It's raining here and DS said there was a thunderstorm during the night, hope it dries up soon.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Hi Dolly - I haven't bothered with the Next sale these last few years as the last time I went it was a lot of tat and not worth it. However this year it was really good - I got exactly what I had wanted to get and am returning the bits and bobs I hadn't planned to get and didn't really suit me.0

dolly I usually go when it opens at 5 or 6 but last time the queue to get in took 1.5 hours so this year I went about 7.15am as I was up anyway. I got most of the things on my list and I have a pile of ill fitting to items to return so will have don't about £60 on 2 pairs of work trousers, a birthday present, a hoodie and a top.

Evening everyone!
Well - i topped up my car with £10 and that will be enough to see me through to pay day - so that means I have a spare £10 - and as I'm so short this month, I've used it to boost my food/spends budget! Very naughy I know!
So - today was a spend day, stocked up on some wraps, milk and tuna!!! Got to the gym and did a leg workout which I've avoided for weeks and it nearly killed me!!! Feeling very virtuous at present!
Quiet evening in I thinkWhat you all up to???

Hello
Another spend day. Have been weak. Hubby treated us to lunch but there was a farm shop next to it where I spent a tenner. Then spent hours through jewellers looking for wedding bands with a Celtic design but no-one has them any more. So need to look online. Couldn't be bothered cooking, so got a Tesco Chinese take away for 9 quid. SFD and diet ruined
. Oh well, tomorrow is another day.....off to bed now to catch up on sleep from last night

Evening all
abundant we've just been out for dinner with the inlaws, they paidSo free food
. Now going to watch an hour of catch up tv (anyone watch Talk to the Animals in the week?).
I went to a different Next store this afternoon! Got two more items for me and more for OH, although he will be paying me back. So that's £83 in total, 3 pairs of trousers, 2 tops, a hoodie and a present. That should keep me going until Christmas at least
Also did a small top up shop so should only need bread and milk before payday next Friday
Hope you are all okLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Well done to those who got planned bargains from Next, abundant I am also having to "borrow" from another budget to get me through to the end of the month, overall I will come under my total budgets for the month though (I hope!!)
