    Evening all

Glad kitty is starting to show signs of improvement thrifty, how funny that an extra cat litter tray works!

    Hope you are ok stewby

Glad the decorating is done moomin

and hope you have a lovely evening with your cousin NSK

Today has been a spend day as puppy needed a heavy water bowl, that he could not tip everywhere, and a collar and lead, so he can practise wearing one for when he is allowed out in a few weeks. OH also bought a few supplies for the weekend, he is sulking as I will be away for two nights volunteering.

Puppy has made a mess again in his crate today. The first 6 days, he was perfect and as if he was house trained, now he has regressed and seems to prefer to go in his crate! He is however currently chasing his tail which is rather funny.

Paid another 1% off the debt this week (can't remember whether I already mentioned this) so I'm quite chuffed with that :) I am also exactly half way through paying off the amount I intend to during 2014, and half way through the year, so very pleased :)

No exercise and awful eating habits at the moment, but I have barely watched tv this month. This evening I am choosing to read MSE and have an early night :)

Sending love to crazylady & stewby for both of your troubles. Keep your chins up me ducks and remember just how fabulous you are.

Spend day today. Knew it was coming. £2 of eggs from the egg man. Couldn't be put off as he is on holiday next week and I would have paid way more than that in the supermarket for much smaller eggs! Whilst I was spending anyway I went and bought my lettuce (rip off 20p more in Mr S than Mr A - will teach me to be lazy. On the plus side I used £5 of nectar points and all the shrapnel in my purse to pay for the lettuce, soya milk, veggies & fruit plus my 6 weekly Friday Treats for work (£4 out of my budget) as it was my turn on the rota. The mini battenburgs may have been sacrificed to the god of terrible Thursdays though and the packet of 5 is now minus 2... :D lol. So £13.88 spent today -£5 nectar points but I still took the 'money' out of my groceries budget! Determined to stick to it!

I've now clocked up 24 miles walking purely to work, not to mention the rest of the walking I do. Having no car and a travel sick small has its bonuses ;)

Off to sleep soon. 8 cups of coffee may be my undoing in that department but they were required to stop me punching a colleague/crying/walking out of my job today!

    Night all! xx

Today I am grateful for my lovely neighbour, for wondeful work colleagues, for dd getting to sleep faster than normal, for having a good paper sort (have FINALLY recycled most of my uni notes from ...1988!), for the telly being off, for the riot of colour in my titchy front garden (fuchsia x2, phlox, lavender, passion flower, jasmine, roses and pretty weeds!).

    Hi All,

Quick post tonight to claim a SFD :j I think that takes me up to 7 but I will confirm tomorrow.

Had a card from Royal Mail / Parcel force. I have an unexpected parcel too big to post through the door. I have NOT purchased anything so it MUST be a prize from one of the many competitions I have entered. Really intrigued as I have not had any prize notifications so I have no idea what it is. All I can safely say is that I don't think it will be a cash or voucher prize due to the size :rotfl:

    Back tomorrow.

    Hi all

Another NSD - I just couldn't face the shops but the cupboards are getting desperate now.

I'm still struggling on the exercise front - I used to jog regularly and go to circuit classes etc but the mojo has gone for a wander. I'm on holiday in 9 weeks and I better get myself into gear.

    Check in daily: 10/31
    SFD 7/15
    Groceries £79.40/£110
    Odd 43.02/£65
    Petrol 40.01/£120

Crazylady and stewby sending hugs your way.

I am declaring a spend day, after getting all the way to 9pm then realising we needed some top up bits to see us into next week as we are away this weekend at my nephew's first birthday, then I am seeing a friend until Wednesday... DH needs extra bits to see him through (pizza and the like!). So bang goes a SFD. Managed a run though, so feeling good about that. I am supposed to be doing a dualathon in September with my brother to raise money for a brain tumour charity in memory of my dad so I really should be getting into training for that.. eek. I was supposed to be doing a triathlon this year too, but that was booked before everything went pete tong so I haven't done anywhere near enough swimming training to be able to do that.

Reading through the blog we all seem to be tired at the moment? what's all that about? I am exhausted and had to have a nap at lunch today despite falling asleep on the sofa last night and crashing in bed at 9.30pm. I am usually more energetic in the summer, and expect to feel like this in the winter months not July... Ho hum.

Right, speaking of which, off to bed now as eyelids are drooping

    xx

  • Checking in and declaring a spend free day yesterday (although I was bought some jogging bottoms - £19.50 reduced to £10! Bargain, although not mine :) ) and a good sleep last night, so feeling much more positive today. Today and tomorrow will be spendy days but hopefully won't need anything then before getting paid on tuesday. Can't wait to see another chunk come out of my overdraft.

Hope everyone has a great friday.
Proud to be debt free September 2014. :j
