Liltdiddy...don't break a NSD for lettuce!!! chocolate maybe, but lettuce....wish I could ping you over some of my left behind salad leaves
Had a very long day today supporting a friend to speak to the police about some historic abuse. Very draining for her. Broke the NSD for cuppas in a diner nearby before the long drive home, so also stocked up on some YS food in my nearby co-op. Lots of much needed fruit! DD has a friend over, the sun is shining and they have enrichment week at school so no homework. We're off to the beach for tea. Chips (whoops) but supplemented with my YS ham, take our own ketchup, drinks and pudding (fruit). Max outlay hopefully £4, from the money I'd put aside for camping last weekend that then wasn't needed.
My ebaying really must begin tonight!0 -
Got the cat to the vets and came back 64 quid liter. Poor thing got a bladder infection. Also bought a second litter tray for upstairs and some fruit.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250

I have eaten half of a 200g bar of chocolate. I could eat the rest is the really sad thing. NAUGHTY LILT. On the plus side, I didn't buy it today and I now feel much better about dinner and food in general so I will be keeping up with my SFD
.
Have to stay at work late and miss meeting Jellytot out of nursery though.
Kat, there used to be a tool my sister used called 'turbolister' - I know it made the job 10 times quicker for her. Maybe it will work for you? It's on PCprobably an app now too!
Thrifty gutted for your poor cat and now feeling very mean for doubting her. Hope she gets well soon. Ouch on the vets fee!!!!
CL Thanks for cheering me on. I have bought 2 big bars of choc to last me 2 weeks from Monday. I am determined to stick to it

Hey all!
Missed check-in (again) yesterday- sorry! I was working all day/evening- boring! Today has been more fun (normal) though!
Yesterday was another SFD, but was also a no exercise day- odd I am starting to see a pattern. On the days I do not exercise, I do not seem to spend money...May be my brain is wired to tell me, if I exercise I can then buy! Need to nip that one in the bud!
Although I haven't over exerted myself today I did walk a couple of miles with some heavy food shopping- ok may be there was some energy exerted there. I visited Aldii on the premise of getting some bottled water as the water from our taps at home were running a suspicious colour this morning (they're back to normal now), whilst work men were messing around fixing the road outside. I came out with more than just water- but all items from my meal plan list! :A I Think I'm just going to get most of my food shop from there to cover the next 2-3 weeks. So shall be smaller purchases as opposed to one big tesc0 shop.
Stats are at:
Sfds= 5/15
Groceries= £19.14/ £80
The rest have not changed
I am stupendously tired so shall bid you all a good evening and a good night now!:coffee:

:wave:Hullo chums,
Thrifty Glad you got puddy tat seen to, hope she will start to feel better very soon. Your description of her wee's reminded me very much of my ickle step cat's antics, she is a little old puss with some kidney problems and is prone to frequent uti's and cystitis. I recognise the signs early on nowadays and know when to book a vets appointment for her antibiotic injection to nip the infection in the bud and get her feeling more comfortable again bless her.
Finished my night shifts for the week this morning so have not long woken up! I managed a SFD on Monday as I was working nights and didnt go to the shops in the day but had 2 unexpected spends for yesterday and today!
On Monday night I received an email to say that someone had purchased an item I had advertised on ebay as 'buy it now' which was very exciting! :j I have only ever sold one other item to date so am a complete newbie to this! So after my shift on Tuesday morning I posted it off and should see about £35 in my account soon. I find the fees a bit much to be honest but I accounted for this in advance and overpriced my item. I had a day of photographing a load of stuff some weeks ago, just need a day off to advertise them now. I am slowly learning to detach myself from posessions and turn them into cash and clear some space!
Today has been a spend day as I needed to make a contribution for a friends new home/ house warming gift.. There is always something that needs paying out for!
Abundant I am also determined to make do with what I have for this coming fortnight, I really need to keep the spends down to an absolute minimum until I get paid, which I think is do able! I think booking the 4 overtime shifts was a good move as it stops me popping to the shops for my latte and doing some unneccessary spending, which is a BIG weakness!
Only 15 days til pay day, Whoop! :T
Getting out of bed now to make my tea,

Sorry about yesterday. I have sleeping issues when on nightshift. Last one tonight though.
Another two spend-free days (from yesterday and today) so that brings me up to SEVEN!!!!
:j
Not much else to tell you I'm afraid. Spending my leftover time at work to study for the training course I have next week.
Oh yeah... Posting might be a bit varied next week as I have a course on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday then nightshifts on Thursday and Friday. Good money though, hopefully.
Sorry to hear about your cat but at least it is something fixable.

hey all
Still getting back into the swing of leaving time every day to read the posts and then checking in myself! Not doing so well at it so far, and forgetting what I have read and wanted to comment on by the time I come to post... I will get back into the groove soon.
Swam today, and ran yesterday, SFD yesterday but not today - had lunch with a friend at work and bought a new book on the kindle (very naughty, no defence for this..) DH asked if today was a SFD for him, as he genuinely forgot he just went and paid for the new car today. So, apart from the £13,500 it was a SFD for him!! But car is on the drive and looks shiny and lovely and all.
so tired again this week, so off to curl up on the sofa with a book and wait for my banana bread to bake.
