Just a quick check in.
I'm very excited for your acquired food crazy lady, what a lovely thing to happen
Glad you feel better NSK
Glad the police are on the case MagicCat
Today is SFD number 3Paid in a cheque a few days ago and it's cleared so paid it off the debt, meaning I'm 31% debt free
Very tired this evening after a hectic day at work followed by 5 hours extra exam marking. The money will come in handy to go towards the debt but it's first-come-first-served so had to mark like crazy from when I got home to when my eyes started to droop.

Checking in - yesterday was a spendy day but no plans to spend anything today and my overall plan is to spend as little as possible before I get paid on tuesday. Glad to hear you're feeling better Kat! I seem to be going through a bad insomnia patch - normally, while I might wake up anywhere between 5 and 6am, I can go to sleep very easily. The last couple of weeks I've struggled to fall asleep and then woken at 1/2 - I blame worrying about work! So very tired but hoping for a spend free dayProud to be debt free September 2014. :j

Check in daily: 9/31
SFDs: 3/15
Food budget: £41.25/£130
Outings: 1/5
Exercise: 4/16
Illegal items (clothes/beauty/shoes): 0/0
No SFD yesterday as when I came home and saw the chaos in the house with the laminate floor removal and half the furniture from the living room in other parts of the house I decided that cooking was a step too far and ordered pizzaIt came from my decorating fund, so at least it didn't go on a credit card
SFD should happen today. I have an item to post but the friend I'm sending it to sent me money to cover postage, so no cost to me. I also may have sold some stuff on a FB selling group, I just need to find it in the chaos that is my house :rotfl:

Hey all...
Yesterday wasn't a SFD as had to buy a stamp to post a birthday card and accidentally bought some Dr Pepper and crispies in the shop too!!! They were rice cakes and the drink was diet lol.
Will check in later tonight with today's goings on.

Morning.
Yesterday was a SFD as predicted and today will be too. I have started with one of those buzzy, sneezy summer colds, I felt grotty first thing but still went to the gym and felt better whilst I was all panty and sweaty. I will cycle tonight followed by a warm bath and try to blast it out of my system.
The kids will be at home tomorrow as school is closed for strike action, they normally manage to open at least part of the school but not this time. Before I knew about it I booked a grocery delivery with Tesco for lunchtime because it was a cheap slot and I would be home so we won't be going far, maybe just to see my mum and dad.
I'm not working today :j so I will be cleaning instead:(.
Last month my Sky TV went on the blink, in the end we called out an engineer at a cost of £40 (should be £65) and it was the trees in our garden blocking the signal so he moved the dish. I forgot to budget for it this month so now I need to find the extra £40 from somewhere to cover the DD when it comes out. I had already reduced the food budget this month but will try to squeeze a bit from that but other than that I am a bit stuck.
I have some bits on ebay and bids on 2 items, it doesn't amount to much when you take the fees off and I was planning on using the money to buy some clothes for me that fit, I have gone down two dress sizes and am starting to struggle for things to wear on the bottom half. On Saturday I went around the CS in our town and I couldn't find one thing in any of them for less than £5, what on earth are they doing with the crazy prices?Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Hello all!
Just checking in on lunch break at work. I am determined to actually take a break this week! I started half an hour late though, should lunch 12-1 so it isn't looking good. SO BUSY here at the minute so I sympathise with those not sleeping, worrying about work, and especially those who are doing such overtime! There is no option to do so at my work. Not that I really could if I wanted to. Single mums can't really just pick up hours here, there and everywhere.
Should be an NSD but right now my stomach is telling me otherwise. I have a tin of soup for lunch, and a big bar of chocolate with me which is supposed to last me until next Monday! The way I feel, it will be lucky to see 5pm! We had wraps with salad and southern fried chicken breasts last night. There is half of everything left (the wraps are out of date but not mouldy!!) apart from the lettuce. I had to consign the remainder to the bin last night. Do I spend 49p and ruin a spend day, or make up for the lack of lettuce with other salad!? Maybe I can do peeled carrot slices or something instead. I shall not spend, I shall not spend, I shall not spend.
Will check back in tonight to confirm SFD but I need to go to bed early again. I am also struggling to sleep but it may be the vast quantities of coffee necessary to function!

Hello everybody!
Well I am being good today and thought I would do some work BEFORE checking in. I have just had lunch and am finishing in a few hours before hitting the cinema with a girlfriend. Gym tonight as well as I need to do some weight training...
SFD for me though... Need to start adding them up I think.
Been researching more for my traveling - think I need to start a new thread - eBay "100 items for 99p"... I need to start down-sizing and obviously don't want to leave it until the very last minute AND it gives me the chance of getting some money in the door.
Who's with me? Not sure when I am supposed to find time to do this but I have a lot of things to sell... so my time has to be split..- A day for collating 100 items.
- A day for photographing 100 items.
- A day for writing descriptions of said items.
- A day for listing said items.
I do look around my room sometimes and wonder what I am going to do with it all. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Anyway - more from me later.“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. I don't know what ZWOW is and I don't do Jillian or running - sorry to disappoint!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Afternoon...
Day off here - and would normally go to the gym... but - my remaining budgets are as follows:
Spends/Food: Just under £22.00 to last until 25th July (Pay Day)
Fuel: £20.00 to last until 25th July
Kat will vouch that I usually fall off the wagon at this point - not in a MAJOR way but usually blow my budgets... This month I can't. With the credit card cut up I literally have no fall back... It's scary looking in my account and seeing so little.
That said - it is only 15 full days after today that I have to get through - and I do love a challenge. So - with that in mind...
1) I'm only going to go to the gym on work days to save petrol as it's about 7 miles away from home, but just 2 or 3 from work. That's not an excuse not to do anything - I have my step so will do some cardio and light weights from home... So if I do 30 mins+ of work out can I count it as a gym session? Pretty please?
2) I'm going to meal plan and look what I have in. Exciting huh? With what cash I have left, I will use wisely and buy yellow sticker or own brand stuff. Yes I'm trying to eat healthily and cut down on carbs but having sandwiches for lunch isn't going to kill me for a few weeks.
3) Birthday cards gone out but with an honest admission that I'm broke haha
4) Will have a look to see if there is any way I can generate money too... That would help loads... What can I sell.. hmmmm.
5) Entertainment is easy - only 1 planned day out next weekend - so the rest will be Netflix and free tea/coffee at mates houses I think!
I *can* do this... I *will* do this...
Keep up the good work folks... x

Kat how do you still find things to sell? You've been ebaying since you started, lol. Good luck though.
Blocked off all the cat's escape routes in the house so I can catch her later to take to the vet. Last night she peed all over hubby's clothes
Another SFD today and might do a Jillian Michaels if I get the time later
Edit: Oops won't be SFD as I need to pay vet.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250
