Kat - get a grip woman! Just think how good the steam will feel. If they are really TOWIE types, will be far too busy looking in the mirror to notice anybody else
You deserve a bit of R&R after your weekend and crazy work stint or at the least no gym.
SFD day 3 for me and check in 6. Working from home this evening, I don't get paid O/T but there is just too much to do right now not to work extra. Bicarb & ACV round 2 successful!
Hope Monday isn't too stressful all.0 -
A good day has been had in apple muncherland.
Got a cheque for expenses. Work went well. Dropped a bag off at the Sally Army and got my £2 credit stamper. Then I spent £1.99 there - 99p on a gorgeous skirt for dd and 50p each on 2 items to cut up for crafting. I resisted the urge to go round any of the other 6 ch shops in the area - didn't want to spoil another NSD.
Today I am grateful for dh going to dd's sports day so I didn't have to feel bad about not being able to go, for dd declaring that sports day was wonderful, for finding 2 mega-cheap items to cut up and re-craft and getting them for free, for my new filing cabinets arriving at work (!), for lovely children at work helping me with mundane tasks.
Dh is off work again tomorrow and wants to do something together. He's suggested the library or a walk so far - very mse! Given that wandering round the shops is his idea of how to spend a Saturday - and my worst way to spend a Sat -, I know he's trying to find something I'll like! I'm impressed!! :TNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Erm... check-in for today and yesterday (sorry).
Destroyed the budget yesterday as we went to morrisons. £34 down but we have a fair bit of food for that. Hopefully will last two weeks.
Today is a spend-free day so that brings me to four so far this month.
:j
Not really much else to say to be honest. Working tonight and for the next two nights after that so might not have the most exciting posts.
:undecided
Hope you are all doing very well.

Quick check in.
Spend day on Saturday. I needed to post a card, but missed the collection time for the box near me and only had second class stamps. Had a few bits to get from sainsbos so went there, knowing there was a post box. Bought my few bits, went to get a book of first class stamps, the card had to be there for tomorrow, and went to post it and the box was sealed up!
SFD sunday and today, and should be for the next couple of days. Although, I let my bagels go mouldy again. I must remember to freeze them as soon as I get them. I even bought freezer bags to do it, ggggrrrrrFeb NST #4

We've got a cat. Don't think she's taken too well to the new arrival or getting more stressed by other cats outside due to getting older. She started peeing in the house more. Ruined a pair of shoes, just peed in the baby's car seat and the I caught her about to pee in my travel bag from the weekend. I love her but that plus the scratching of carpets (old ones mind) and hair everywhere is starting to anoy me. She 13 and apart from going off wet food pretty with it for her age, so there might be a good few more years in her, bless. Not sure how I'll cope though. Anyone else had that problem. She still uses her litter too though.
THIS happened with my 3 year old cat. I idolised her, she was my baby. Then the bump started to show and she didn't like it one bit. My hormones seemed to send hers mad. She peed and pooed everywhere. I tried everything, nothing worked. Then jellytot arrived and boom I had a cat that hated the baby. The peeing thing got worse and the final straw came when she peed in the car seat, which was part of a travel system and hence all over the pram too. I went into meltdown. Jelly was weeks old. I nearly did the cat some damage and then decided it was not good for her or for me. I rehomed her. I hope she is a lot better off where she is now. Still miss her, but I will never get a cat again. I was always a dog girl but a dog couldn't fit this lifestyle & into my tiny flat. Not fair on one at all, much as I love them and miss my old doggy.
Kat yes I am indeed a dork fighting with a 2 and a quarter year old over eggs. Especially since she pretty much won and now I have a dentist appt on my day 'off' when she is at nursery. No relaxing for mumma.
Today I had to spend, to post off a recorded delivery letter to NP0wer Green team signed by me and my landlord. Once they get that back it is all systems go on a new boiler for free!! Whilst landlord was here he looked at my electric oven and consigned it to the dump. I am having a new one delivered in the next week!!So between the boiler, my MSE ways and a new oven (plus new fridge 6 months ago replacing the 18 year old one I had in) I am hardly going to cost anything in gas/leccy this winter!!
Whilst I was spending, I took out £10 for jellytots hair cut, £60 for nursery fees, paid out £30 in food for the week (reduced bargain of 8 hot & spicy pork steaks! £5 down to £1.89) & bought £15 worth of cleaning stuff & bibs for jelly in savers/99p store. So tomorrow will defo be an NSD. We require nothing further in the way of food other than £2 for the 'eggs man' at work Thursday. Can I put this in an envelope now and use it as todays spend day?!?!?!
Not read all the other posts. I am pooped. Several nights not sleeping and Jelly getting up at 6 have taken their toll. Catch you in the morrow folks. Have a good one! xx

Hey all
Spendy day today as I had to get the weekly shop. Got a good haul of yellow sticker fish which will freeze and made a lovely yellow sticker seafood creamy chilli pasta tonight. Yum.
No exercise today as I avoid mondays at the gym like the plague and tend to keep Mondays as a day off from doing much other than getting myself to work and back!
DH picks up the new car on Wednesday morning, so at least we'll feel like we have something to show for some of our debts this week!
off to bed now, as my busy weekend away of 'relaxation' seems to have tired me out.. maybe it was the two bottles of wine we had?!

The cat has been fine today. She's usually great with the kids and always comes when they are crying to make sure we take care of them. Thinking back it might have been the black cat she had a hissing match outside with yesterday that upset her. I think she knows she's done wrong because today she was all quiet and demure if thats the right word.
Done my numbers and spend 123 of the grocery budget so far but got loads in so that I will just need milk and fruit on Friday again as today. Went for another run tonight. Tomorrow and Wed DS is in nursery so I will do my Jillian Michaels exercises again.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250
