The puppy is gorgeous!! If I didn't live in a very small flat then I would have a lab or a retriever for sure! Checking in for today, yesterday was very much better as I went to the gym and also clocked a spend free day! So that's 2/15. My arms ache this morning as for once all the weight machines were free so I went to town a bit, but as long as I can type I think I'll be ok. :) Can't believe it's monday already....

    Check in daily: 7/31
    SFDs: 3/15
    Food budget: £37.05/£130

    Morning all :D

No SFD yesterday but I had a lovely time with my friends, so I can cope with that. The only planned food expenses until the end of the week will be milk/bread/fruit, so I'll keep that under a tenner.

Have a good week all ♥

What a good way of putting things, easy to keep a check on progress
Do You mind if I copy your idea.

Had a sore throat and cough for the last couple of days, glands up and feeling terrible, only did what I had to do plus watched Formula I. DH got a ticking off as there were no suitable antibiotics in the house.

*cough* sneaking in with a post for yesterday!

Spend day yesterday- had to purchase some crafty bits and pieces for a lil business venture I am pursuing (very early days yet). No full-on exercise yesterday, I walked a couple of miles but this was cancelled out by the delightfully cheese and cocktails fuelled bbq I attended yesterday...oops!

Fmess- Squeeeee! What a cutie! Look at those crossed paws! :)

    Cute puppy!!!!

We've got a cat. Don't think she's taken too well to the new arrival or getting more stressed by other cats outside due to getting older. She started peeing in the house more. Ruined a pair of shoes, just peed in the baby's car seat and the I caught her about to pee in my travel bag from the weekend. I love her but that plus the scratching of carpets (old ones mind) and hair everywhere is starting to anoy me. She 13 and apart from going off wet food pretty with it for her age, so there might be a good few more years in her, bless. Not sure how I'll cope though. Anyone else had that problem. She still uses her litter too though.

My cat was 19 when she was put down, she used to wee and more in the house, she went a bit senile towards the end, it wasn't a fun way to end as looking back I felt I was always annoyed with her over something.

Fmess - Your pup is cute, is he a cross breed?

Spent £2 on ice creams for the kids yesterday whilst waiting for The Tour, it was very exciting when the cyclists came through, the caravan was huge it went on forever, so many vehicles.

Today I will try super hard to not part with any money, it is the school sports day though and you are very, very lucky if you can get through any event at school without being asked for money.

I have been to the gym this morning and I will cycle this evening.

Fmess Aww what an adorable puppy! So cuuuute! :p And what a great hound catalogue crossed paw pose ;) Whats his name?

Lilt Haha I re read my post, squatting all the way from Waitrose wouldve certainly got a place in the ministry of silly walks :rotfl:

Apologies for being missing in action for the last 3 days! Ive had nothing much to declare other than clocking up 3 SFDs in a row :T I've not had much time to post over the weekend as the 12 hour shifts followed by the cycle home, shower and dinner each day left me feeling rather pooped quite frankly! :o

I have some chill time today before I get ready to load my bike again and peddle in for the night shift, so I might switch on the telly at some point to watch the Tour :D Having being without a telly for many years, I bought my first ever TV in January thinking I would watch more of it but have only put it on a dozen times! It would have been less had it not been for the Crimson Field drama! I do love my peace and quiet though, so I guess some things never change :p The telly looks nice in my room even if its mostly switched off haha :D

Have already worked one overtime shift this month and have booked a further 4 shifts which will be paid out in August :j. I am going to transfer those extra funds across into savings despite owing 2K on my interest free credit card  . I somehow feel that this debt is not as overwhelming as my previous one as I am more in control of things and have a bit of a savings safety net to fall back on if need be.

Only 19 days til pay day! Whoop!

    Keep going chums

Thrifty Have you thought of speaking to the vet about your cats behaviour if you have noticed recent changes?

Dolly Must have been exciting being there to watch the Tour yesterday! :j Wouldve gone into London today if I was not working this evening! :(

    Afternoon Chickadees...

I won't lie. I feel like death warmed up. I am starting to feel achy like the flu is on it's way, and a little headachy which is rare for me. Other things are happening to my body which indicate something is not right but I shan't share such gross details - but I am sure you can guess...

I was planning on the gym tonight but if Mummy NSK reads this I am going to get a phone call and a sharp word in my ear so I might go for a sauna / steam instead....

Weird question - I am a bit conscious of my skin when I don a bikini. My gym is very "TOWIE" and is actually bordering Essex... all the boys and girls are super young, tanned, smooth skinned lovelies - tell me I am being stupid and I should just go considering how good a steam is for my skin...???

SFD spoiled by the need for a dirty 35p energy drink - I know what you are thinking - I was feeling queasy before I had it..

Due to the rebate from TasteCard my CC is now clear covering the £20 petrol I needed for the weekend. Bliss!

One more OT shift for next Sunday for 12 hours... am off the following weekend - are you proud ??? - it's going to be a research weekend and I might take myself off to Kew again since I get in free through work. Or just sleep.

The following weekend is a bid for double shift again like this weekend just gone - bad move - don't think I will do that again.

By the end of the week I will have completed 25 days straight without a day off. Whoops... bad planning. :(:(:(

Anyway I will be back tonight.. although not around 9pm as "The 100" is starting and I am rather excited.... :T:T:T

Hello everyone (do we have a collective noun this month?!)

Hope your Mondays are going OK. I need to grocery shop after being away this weekend, so no NSD for me, sadly. but we're away again this weend, so I really shouldn't need to get much.

    Fmess - what a cutie!

Kat - hope you're feeling better, remember to add 'rest' and 'look after yourself' to your to do lists!

Lilt - ouch for tooth - hope it doesn't need too much done.

Abundant - well done with gym, you are on a roll!

Nothing much happening with me - have to go to the police station tomorrow to give a statement, FINALLY, so hoping they are going to do something about the thief.
