Morning all.
Today was a spend day as predicted, we picked £3.20 worth of strawberries at the fruit farm (we always go a bit overboard), then at the church fete we spent another £4. Last night DH went to a party (I didn't want to go) I'm not sure how much he spent but he only took £10, he drove and he brought home change.
Today is our Tour de France day, we are taking all food and drinks and I hope to not spend anything.
applemuncher - how lovely of the company to organise that day, I didn't think companies did things like that anymore. It sounds very American.
abundant - well done on going to the gym, maybe a target will help your motivation, something like a race if you like running, or a weight loss challenge with a friend, where the winner gets a prize. I'm very competitive so that type of thing helps me.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Morning all
I got most of my weekly shop done yesterday for £16.54. I used a £5 voucher for meat, so the fridge is groaning! I also got 5% cashback on the shop from my bank, so that'll be 80p in my account next month. It's not a lot but every wee bit helps. I gave my spare vouchers (£3 off a £40 spend etc, I never spend that much) to people at the tills who had big shops. It's nice to pass on some savings :money:
I'll pick up the last bits on my list today.
I have an outing in plan today but hope to keep the spending to a minimum. I have a budget for entertainment this month - the first time in a long while :rotfl:0 -
I bet the people at the tills were rather pleased they bumped into you moomin
Today should be SFDI am currently sat in the garden in my PJs whilst the puppy tires himself out chasing the older dogs. Then I'm going to clean the house, do some school work, walk the dogs and avoid watching tv! The last few Sundays I seem to have watched tv for most of the day, so I definitely need to avoid that today if I'm to stick to the challenge.

Checking in for yesterday
Quite good until we went to fill up the lorry with diesel. It was a M&S petrol station and I was the one sent in to pay. £6.35 on top of the diesel spent, but on the positive side I ignored the cheese, pates, and biscuits just got salad things which we needed, so I have to say joining this group is sort of working
No TV yesterday but I think the rule will be broken today as it's the British Formula 1
Exercise was chickens and veg plot for a couple of hours. I hurt my shoulder a couple of days ago and couldn't raise my arm above shoulder level DH suggested I had torn something, it seems to have settled but I have to lump around several 20kg bags of chicken feed today so here's hoping it will stand up to that.
I'm aiming for a SFD today
Have a good day and hope the weather stays dry0 -

Good morning everyone
Spent £40 on petrol yesterday. No choice on that one, as I need it to get to work.
Will also need to finish off my food shopping today. I don't think i'll spend more than £50. That really should be it until at least next Friday then.
Also going swimming later ( I don't pay for that when I go- its part of our membership), so that's my exercise for the day0 -
Morning again!
Well it's 12:31 and I'm still not up. Had a lovely lazy morning and am going to go and claim gym session number 2... thing I'll do the dreaded legs work out!!!

Thanks for the tips on using oils for skin care too!!!

Hi all
OK TV ban thing is out the window today with the British grand prix & Wimbledon - it has to be done:).
I actually won a prize yesterday at a charity thing I went to but I didn't realise it until my cousin popped in last night. I won an appointment at my local beauticians to get nails done - I'm going to keep it until my holiday.

I spent more money yesterday as I went to the shops with OH and he forgot his wallet. I know he will give me the money back but I don't know when.
I managed to get out for a run this morning but I only did a mile as I was breaking in my new orthotics - all seemed to go ok and will get out again on Tues.0 -

Hello all.
Sorry disappeared for 2 days. Had a very hectic Friday at work then my evening was swamped with preparing for the next day. Saturday was the first of my planned days out. A birthday party for my best friends 2 year old. Trains were replaced with buses, making the journey twice as long and meandering. Also making jellytot extremely motion sick. Cue me running around like a headless chicken on the bus grabbing the drivers tissues and bin bags and catching endless volumes of sick. Lucky I took 4 changes of outfit. Even luckier, my friends parents were so kind as to drive us home and save me the same trip back!
Jellytot was exhausted from her long long day. It started at 10am with the journey and then a coffee with her nanna, but we didn't get home til 7! She woke me at 6am and has been awake ever since til just now. She collolapsed on the bedroom floor whilst I was pegging washing onto my airer so is now in bed!
I spent on clothes yesterday £17I am ashamed to admit I didn't have a single top or cardigan that fits me properly and isn't designated for 'work' therefore old and frumpy
I got too porky! Bought two half price items, a top (£6) and a cardigan (£11) which I can use at home and at work. The top went in the wash this morning and came out half the length and twice the width. No amount of pulling has helped, and it was washed perfectly. So it is going back. I got to wear a new top for the party and tomorrow I get my money back! haha.
I also bought Coffees for me and the nanna in Costa. So illegals were high yesterdayI owe myself £18.40 in coffee, cakes and cardigan money. Where to conjure that up? *off to ebay*
I did have an NSD Friday and today should be one too. It has been pouring down with rain so we are housebound.
Hope you're all ok!
