Hello everyone
Been at work all day, just two more days to go and I can have a rest, ha ha. I will be babysitting my dgd Tuesday and Wednesday so plenty of walking will be done and then back to work Thursday!!
Anyway not spent anything yet so both sfd and grocery money in tact still. I didn't manage to post yesterday so failed there, but had an early night and just forgot - sorry Kat
Had dinner which was mash, beefless burgers and veggies followed by fruit, jelly and yogurt, and put up my lunch for tomorrow.
So going now to have a read round the boards.

Today I am grateful for the Tour starting, for bouncy castles (especially where you wear a velcro suit and launch yourself at the 'wall' and then have to fight to undo the velcro connection!), for free fun, for cuddles, for coffee.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Another SFD today. Diet not going too well as we're having roast dinner at FIL's and it's unbelievable how many calories are in there. I liked it much better when I was 8.5 stone and could have them all the time without thinking twice. Hopefully another SFD tomorrow and might go for a run if we're back home early enough tomorrow.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250

Good evening.
So spoke with my dad and I might not meet my deadline of the end of the year... but I am going to stick to it, keep working all the extra shifts that I can (within reason and logic) and hope that I can pull it off.
I want to start saving for the wedding in the new year. It is important to me and I can't really explain why so I am going to keep fighting to get the credit card gone by the end of December.
Anyways... spend day today as we went to Aldeeeeeeee for the first time.
Found some really good bargain-y foods (a basted turkey breast joint that would be a fiver elsewhere is £2.99 in there). We didn't buy them though, just kept them in mind for later purchases.
We spent approximately £10 (will find receipt tomorrow and let you know) and that included three herb plants for OH as he is now making a herb garden.
I returned a pair of trousers to n3xt that I had bought but didn't need. So I got £15 returned back to my account. This will go towards petrol I imagine as I left myself a bit short in the fuel budget area after I bought the wardrobe.
:j
I had mentioned in passing that I was broke to my dad so he handed me £20 from my main account this morning. I still have it and plan on keeping it so I can hand it back to my dad at the end of the month to pay off the credit card.
A heap of I's in here so I apologise for seeming a bit me, me, me.
So... big story of the day (which is going to sound so stupid but here goes):
My mum and I are going on holiday in December and right now the euro is really good (apparently). My Dad was wanting to get my Mum her euros today due to the good rate but as they are doing some major financial stuff (paying off a chunk of their mortgage) this month. So he was a bit disappointed but said that he would wait until next month and hope the rate was still as good...
... so I offered to give him £300 out of my hidden savings account. He was stunned that I had managed to save money and even seemed a bit impressed when I went into the bank and handed over £300. I don't think he has ever seen me being this financially responsible before. I think he was secretly quite shocked.
:rotfl:
Anyways, sorry about the huge long me me me post but I am feeling pretty great today so thought I would share it.

Hi All,
Another SFD today so really pleased as that makes 4/15. Tomorrow should be SFD as well but I will need a small top up shop on Monday.
Last 2 days have also been exercise days as I have been doing lots of clearing out and gardening etc as well as some walking. Not up to the standard of most of you all but at least it's a bit more than normal and on a fairly regular basis.
Have posted every day :T and the TV has not even been switched on yet so far in July :T
See you all tomorrow.

Evening all
Spend day today as went out for my second and final planned outing of the month. As it was a spend day, I did the food shopping, redeemed my Mr M voucher and bought a gift that is needed for next week. Hoping this means tomorrow is a SFD
Walked for over an hour today so I'm counting that as exercise. Also watched 2 hours of tv, although found myself getting grumpy of the programmes turned out to be rubbish as I had wasted my tv time!
Hope you've all had a good day. I'd love a go on that bouncy castle Velcro suit game apple muncher!LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Hello good people and a very good morning to you all...
I sound a lot more awake than I actually am. Forgive my lack of further check in on Friday and yesterday - I was wrecked! So so tired yesterday I managed to sleep a lot, make food, sleep some more and then come in to work.
I always have to "store" up my sleep due to having to be back in work in about 7 hours after I finish this morning... and it's not easy I can tell you that now..
Lots of food and fruit kept me going tonight and research. I will be asleep by the time most of you read this though so I hope everyone has a productive day.
I think I have banked 4 SFD's so far / exercise every day, haven't got anything on eBay yes but that is to come don't worry...
Enjoy the sunshine good people and be good.... :rotfl:“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".0 -
Checking in for today - yesterday was spectacularly unsuccessful and unproductive. Managed to spend £20 without really taking note of where it had gone, didn't do anything productive and then just to top it all off, slept really badly, probably down to stress about all of the above. I think I've got in a bit of a rut lately generally - too much to do and procrastinating by doing none of it! <sigh>
However, today is a new start. I am going to go for a good walk in a bit, come back and do some dissertation work and hopefully, bag my 2nd NSD. Onwards and upwards!Proud to be debt free September 2014. :j
