liltdiddylilt luckily my mood etc is fine on the depo. I hope that calorie control and exersice will help. First time I have problems loosing weight. Think part of it is water retention which seems to be common too. Got scales that measure water and it seems a bit high. Jeans that fit before the depo are now tight on my thighs and bum despite not gaining weight. So water might be accountable.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250

The best way to beat that (from experience!) is to drink LOTS. And avoid caffeine i possible (not possible in my world!) - When I drank 2+ litres of water a day, my water retention cut right down

BUT, as I mentioned, I'm going to be staying close to my best friend, so maybe I could ask her to get it for me, and then we can simply trundle up to her house to collect it. Thank you for the inspiration!
AM - You could take enough for the first day or two and get your OH to post it to arrive on day 2, or, like you said, get it delivered to your friends house. I am sure she won't mind. Just thought it would help outFeb NST #4

Debt Free Date Friday 29th March 2014 :j0 -
Hey guys
Quick check in as I have been working late tonight - from 7am to now - pooped! I did squeeze in a swim so feeling v chuffed with that. We were all on track for a NSD but the bread (which made up the main component of the dinner I had planned tonight of poached eggs on toast) seemed to have gone massively mouldy overnight! DH had to nip to the shop for a loaf. Darn it!
I have skimmed today's posts, but will go back and read them properly after, I just wanted to check in before I fell asleep to say thanks for all your kind words and condolences - Dad was only early 60s and had just taken early retirement a week before he was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour - he lived for 4 weeks after diagnosis. I am so upset but glad for him that he didn't suffer long (he was fine up until a few days before being diagnosed - just a bit tired) and that for us we did have a bit of time to say goodbye. It has been a massive shock to us though, and I have struggled to stay on track with debt repayments as part of me thinks 'life is far too short and we need to have fun' and the other part thinks 'I want to be secure financially like dad was so that others don't have to clear up my mess when I am gone, and so I can make more choices and do more in the future'... tough times
I am proud of how we have stayed (sort of) on track, although we are both struggling with the fact DH has had to take a £10,000 loan for a car for work (he needs a good solid newish car as he will be doing a massive motorway commute daily). The good news is the loan is through a work deal and is totally interest free. I am psychologically trying to see it as separate from the 'empty' credit card debt we are tackling... although obviously I want it paid off asap after the other debts!
anyway, sorry to go on...

So sorry to hear about your loss Tiptoes, I'm glad you got some time with him
Today was not a SFD as messed up at work and a lovely colleague did what I should have done and barely mentioned my mistake but I feel really guilty that it cost her time and effort so I bought her a box of chocs (reduced to half price).
No exercise officially but did 11000 steps throughout the day which is approximately 3-4 miles
Caught up on tv from last night but skipped the adverts so just under 2 hours watched
Got my payslip from the marking I did, so once that arrives I'll get a quote from the electrician

Hi All B2B's
Quick check in from me tonight to claim my first SFD of the month.
I have a few days off work so decided to walk a mile and a half to the bank to pay in a cheque. Looked on Google Maps and managed to knock almost 10 minutes off the total time they had for the round trip and that included me waiting in line for a few minutes to be served. So I think I can legitamately claim this session as there was also plenty of sweat by the time I got home.
This was the first solo walk I have had since my fall a few weeks ago so I was a little nervous but everything was fine I'm just a little tired now but that's probably because I tend to walk quite fast and it was VERY hot out there today.
My new rescue chickens have settled in well and are already starting to oay their way with their eggs. I might need to look up some ideas for using eggs as with 6 chickens it won't take long for them to pile up
Back tomorrow
Hugs to everyone who needs (or wants) one.

Hi everyone! Hugs to those that need them, and lots of compassion to all those who are grieving. Kat can you accept a latecomer (I will hang in this time, I PROMISE!). Last two months were a total blur. I am slightly chuffed to have got to the final stage (last 6 out of several hundred applicants) for a job that literally doubles my salary…but fell at the final hurdle, and am back where I was...but with my eyes opened to what I’m clearly capable of and a bit more insight into executive recruitment! As part of the preps I spent some money on myself for the first time in a very very long time – hair, new work outfit, etc. It was all much needed and I feel great for it (but promise not to make a habit of it!).
So, back to the straight and narrow is exactly what I need. In the chaos of recent months (and the dramatic reduction of my debt earlier this year) I’ve let it all slip a bit – it will be great to see it gone for good!

So my get back to it month looks like this:

Daily checkins 1/31

Groceries 0/72 (this is just a £8 drop, but we have been on £80 for such a long time, to cover myself and (half the time) a teenage DD plus breakfasts for paying guests..I did go to £60 once but it was SO hard. I think proportionally a £8 reduction is more achievable).

Outings /5 One planned camping weekend (booked back in March J - to be fair, I cancelled 5 social events including 2 weekends last month because of interview prep, so I really want this one!) Will be taking all our own food and there are no shops near the site – just a deserted beach! One planned weekend with best mate and her new baby in a cottage, paid for by renting our house out while we are away, with a little left over to cover our petrol. So as long as we don’t eat out or be frivolous with food etc, I think we are fairly on an even keel!). The others are free events, just bring food.

I have no TV (gave it up about 9 years ago, don’t miss it at all!). As others are giving up something, I will take up ebaying again after a break of a few months – as Kat mentioned at the start, even 99p items help..I will get my 20 items listed in the first 10 days of the month).
Look forward to catching up tomorrow.0 -
Check-in number 2.
Will be honest, nothing really to update. Spend-free day number 1 today as I have been at work all day.
My mum and I went walkies in the morning but not really enough to count as a whole exercise session.
To be honest, not really much else to say. Sorry guys, will try to be more awake tomorrow and post a bit more. Right now, I just want to go to sleep.Mortgage: £0/£80,329.91

Check in for day 3, which will hopefully be my first NSD. Kat, I do try to avoid the ones I can, however unfortunately this was my line manager, so a bit tricky too really (and in all honesty, I wanted to contribute as she's been ace). Book all posted, amazon transfer to the overdraft initiated. Just trying to batten down the hatches and spend as little as possible before I get paid on the 15th really.Proud to be debt free September 2014. :j
