Most stupid thing? Has to be myself!
If I sat and listed all the things I have wasted money on I would be here all day.
Biggest waste of money was a car when I could have used the money to pay my mortgage, would have saved me a lot of heartache.
Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)

£9500 on my first degree. I dropped out in the second year as I had no interest in the subject, hated the university itself, and only agreed to it due to encouragement from teachers/parents.

£1800 treadmill (although I did get quite a lot of use out of this until a family member broke it, so possibly made up some/all of the money)

+ various crap I wasted money on when I was young, stupid and depressed. I'm just glad I never got my hands on a credit card back then!
    Savings: £60,029.70 (+ I don't know how much BTC/ETH)

    Investments: Not sure

    Daily Breathing Salary (DBS): £1.14

    Debt: £0.00 :j

A beautiful pair of shoes made from leathers in different shades of pinks, mauves, purples. Last pair in the shop. Bloody gorgeous. Couldn't leave them there, so bought them (can't remember the price but that's immaterial as I lived out of my overdraft pre-LBM). Admired them, showed them to everyone, gave them pride of place in my wardrobe......the only thing was that I couldn't wear them as I'm a size 5 & the shoes were a 4. My head said 'These shoes will not fit you'. My heart, however, said 'But they are so adorable & it's only one size difference, you could try squidging your feet up?' Wore them with squidged up feet for one outing & came back with such pinched, blistered & aching feet, I didn't wear them again.

  • A property abroad.

Anyone who tells you invest in property, you can't lose, hasn't bought a property pre recession, tried to pay for it for 7 years of the biggest worldwide recession EVER, then had to sell it at a huge loss to avoid repossession and going bankrupt!!

Please see my post on the subject. I did write a walk through for you.

    On the topic at hand....

I spent £2500 on a book keeping course for the OH which was never completed and the exams never taken. Oh, the irony.
