Then I met my DH & we have spent loads on clearing our past debts, we have always been in debt since we met and our debt journey is coming to an end this September so feeling very excited.House renovation savings £25,000/£25,000
Emergency fund £1000

a train ticket to London - made the mistake of following my heart and not my brain... yes a an was involved... it did't work! xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0

Well mine was more a mistake.
Booked flights for holiday London - Cape Town - Dubai back to London. I accidently booked the last flight a month later than I wanted! Whoops! I wasted over £500 correcting my mistake... good thing I noticed it only a few weeks after booking instead of near the actual holiday, would have cost loads more otherwise!0 -
I spent 200 on laser treatment to supposedly get rid of hair - was told the original course would be enough - until I finished the original course and was told it should be enough but I should probably have more....eI didn't have more as it hadn't worked enough in the first place
What a waste - I thought it would save money!

A 125 learner legal motorbike for my son last December (his 18th birthday). Thought it would be a cheaper alternative to driving lessons and get him mobile quicker. We got all the safety gear with it, thank goodness, as he skidded into the back of a VW Passat that did an emergency stop, road was wet. Car was unscathed, son was just bruised but bike is a write off (or so the local bike repair guy says - we are currently waiting for the insurance company to agree).
The excess on his insurance is £800  and I'll be paying the £60 a month finance for the next 3 years for a wreck. And I'm back to giving him lifts to work.0 -

The Great White wedding. It was a lovely do, there were lots of happy people there (me included), but if I'd realised just how much I ended up parting with, (and who the guest list would end up as being), I would have gone for a much less traditional affair.
Oh & I should have had my husband-to-be pick my wedding dress. Stuff this he shouldn't see thing - I compromised on a frock my mother picked... (Neither of us is good at pretty frocks. Ooops.)0
