    What's the point of pickles?

You can have that discussion with PN

What's the point of pickles? They don't go with fish and chips. If you've got any spare room just buy more chips or a battered sausage or something.

To cut through the fat, so you can keep eating I guess. ;)

Has been a pretty difficult day.

Fir has decided to call RP's doctor and relay the concerns we have. We doubt this will be treated confidentiality and expect some fall out.

Oh dear, sorry to hear this LiR. :grouphug:

I prefer mine lightly poached, dripping with hollandaise on a muffin with smoked salmon....

I've never had that, nor seen it in real life. Seen photos online and maybe on a cooking programme.

Oh golly, I'm drooling now! ;) Nevermind, we're having roast pork for tea, with apple sauce and roasties.

    That needs a Yorkshire ....

I just threw it in there.....

I agree - if I had space for one more item it'd be a sausage, or a fishcake, or something.... not a pickled something. Never fancied the way they sit around in the big jars.... too communal for my liking .... lid having been opened multiple times over days/weeks....

Do you like the look of it?

I love poached eggs, my favourite. But hate them done in poachers....because they go too dense and thick, I don't like that tight togetherness.

I like boiled eggs too. I'm reasonably flexible, but an egg done just to ones own taste of boiled ness is such a delight. :o.

More of the same as before? More often than before? New behaviours?

Yes, not really possible, and yes.
